The room was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! They were doing a lot of work, so I could tell them were trying to fix it up and make improvements.

United States of AmericaThe coffee had no flavor and not hot. I would suggest to get different coffee system like one that grinds your cup and proceeds to make a fresh cup. A choice of decaf and tea. Gluten free option would be great… that could be done with one cold cereal gluten free like cheerios or rice Chex or corn Chex. I am speaking from my background as a dietitian. The staff were very polite. Thanks

United States of AmericaMattress was creaky and bare, TV didnt turn on to anything and you had to figure out game/hdmi setting, light in parking lot coming through crevice of window unblocked by curtain-though they had magnets and tried to fix previously you could tell. Shower was always cold, no bathtub plug, no housekeeping.
Great cost, cleanliness, and location. The room smelled wonderful when I walked in. I like their towels. My pillows were nice. The central air unit was relatively quiet and kept the room comfortable.

Sarah made us feel especially welcome and was very helpful. She and the staff work very hard to maintain this very large property. Loved the waffles- the fluffiest ever. This was a good home base for our visit to Hannibal.

United States of AmericaInvasion in privacy and then when we did leave and returned our key wouldn’t work and we had to go to front desk to resolve.
Somehow our room was assigned to another guest after we checked in and they entered the room while we were already inside it. That could have been an uncomfortable situation but fortunately we were watching TV when the door opened and a lady and three kids were standing there just as surprised as we were.

United States of AmericaThe door to the outside had air all the way around it so it let some bugs in, and the air conditioner was very loud and old. Looks like they are trying to fix it up so I hope it gets better it was a nice stay other than those 2 things.
The Staff was very friendly, the beds were very clean, and the pool was awesome. The breakfast was good. We had alot of fun.

United States of AmericaThe pictures are deceptive- this is an old 1960’s Howard Johnson hotel - it’s enormous and dated - it’s in an sketchy part of town. The rooms were clean, but mattress’s old and hard. Makeshift electrical wiring was not set up to support any usb connections. Quite honestly, the owners should bulldoze it, sell off part of the land and build a smaller hotel. It wasn’t even a 1/4 booked.

United States of AmericaWe attempted the breakfast but it was bad. Lukewarm (at best) coffee with no cream (when we were there). Cooler was empty of food, I.e., yogurt. Room was unbearably hot. Detracted from our stay a little but we would stay there again.
I’ll be honest. When I pulled up to the property I was very “underwhelmed” and felt possibly that I’d made a mistake. This hotel needs a major sprucing up of its visual presentation. However, once in our room it was neat, clean, and very comfortable.

The breakfast was good on the 4th with biscuits and gravy but on the 5th they didn't have much at all.

Housekeeping did not clean room or make the bed, empty trash, no coffee pot in room, food left in fridge from the guest from the last stay. Breakfast was so so.No do not disturb sign on the door.
