My son-in-law took me to the hotel. He had seen it years ago and was overwhelmed at how awesome it is now. Everything was immaculate. The breakfast was awesome too: hot biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, cereals, pastries, and that was just what I saw. Then... I told, James, the cook who was on the spot in the dining room to oversee everyone's needs and wants, that those biscuits and gravy were great and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. And James is also the shuttle driver and picked me up at 4:00 a.m. and took me to the airport. Wonderful guy. The whole staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The pool was big, the game room was very nice, the rooms for meetings, weddings, etc. were all well-appointed. Enough said! Oops, the "shower power" sold it too. Awesome.

The only potential downside to this hotel is that it’s location is a little secluded and there aren’t a lot of eating options right in the immediate vicinity.

This is a terrific property! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. For this tier of hotel, the Baymont by Wyndham Des Airport exceeds all expectations. The amenities offered here were excellent. The swimming pool and hot tub are really nice. The free breakfast was really high quality. I would highly recommend this hotel, as for the money, it’s hard to beat!

Breakfast could go a little later, it would have been nice to sleep a little longer, but couldn’t miss out on breakfast lol!

I love staying at Baymont it’s our family’s go-to when we need to take a little break from the world but don’t have the funds to travel far. * in this instance, it was my sons 8th birthday party we had at the hotel. It was what he had chosen for what he wanted to do for his birthday bcuz we have stayed there many times before and he just loves it. So, we booked a suite, and there was plenty of room in the kitchen/living room area to have his party with family, enough room that they were not having to go into the bedroom area for anything which was super nice. (I was also able to call ahead of time and since our room was ready I was able to check-in a little earlier so that I could decorate before everyone arrived, bonus!); Of course we had to swim with everyone and it was just fantastic. There was enough room for everyone plus other guests from the hotel. The arcade and pool tables were a big hit as well! The beds are so comfortable and clean that you just wake up refreshed. Then there’s the famous breakfast, which was nothing short of great to wake up to, there is absolutely everything you could want in their breakfast room! Thank you so much for making my sons 8th birthday party go smoothly and successfully!!

Only fault was that TV remote failed, allowing only volume and on/off. Fortunately, Fox was innocuous at the time. Well, and the fact only sheer drapes at ground level parking disturbed me, movement there was not a problem on a Monday night.

Solid facility with well-trained and competent staff. Bonus that it is adjacent to headquarters of a respected truck line in DSM. [Yes, their trucker's behavior is noted at such facilities, and misbehavior is not acceptable. Company rules.] As a result, the symbiotic relationship benefits all. Including us who fill out the rooms available. Points added for refillable soap and consumables containers. Breakfast steward highly professional.

Location- nothing the hotel can do about that though. There wasn't any restaurants super close to it.

Excellent hot breakfast, they provided a map so you could find the amenities, staff was friendly. You could tell it was ran/operated by a trucking company but it did not feel like a truck stop hotel at all. Room was very clean.we didn't get a chance to use the pool/hot tub because we were very busy but from what we could see they were clean and large enough to accommodate quite a few people.

Everything, first hotel we went to was horrible worse hotel I have ever been to. It had a great fitness room, great pool area, great breakfast, great staff. Overall wonderful place to stay. First hotel was horrible kids hated it had to leave that place and found the Baymont glad we did. Came here and the kids had the time of there life. Lol great great place

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel, never had stay in a hotel that I enjoyed my stay. Everything was good from the bed the pillows, the breakfast was good with a lot selections. And the costumers service is good, everyone is so nice I extended my stay one more night, and one the girl in the front desk make sure I was able to stay in the same run . That was so nice of her. Definitely I will one back.
