The noise came from other rooms. Chanels on tv were not on. The parking lot was under construction which was hard to drive to park. Wifi not working.

The swimming pool was awesome!! The jacuzzi was also great.

The swimming pool was accidentaly out of order in time of our stay, but this is acceptable if there was necessary to change the water in it.

This was one of the best hotel on my road trip from SF to LA. This hotel is aligned with the surf spirit of the Santa Cruz city. Room was clean and enormous big. I was very very satisfied.

I stayed twice during my holiday - first time everything was great second time WiFi didn’t work and the window to the back was broken and could be easily opened from the outside - I was so tired that I just wedged a coat hanger in it to keep it closed - I’m sure they would have changed my room if I had told them but I was tired after a long drive - I told them in the morning and they were very apologetic. Also if you want to have a bath ask for a plug at reception as the plug thing in the bath didn’t work anymore.

The area is sketchy a lot of homeless and illegal activities going on but I didn’t have any issues with anyone or my car being messed with. I did notice there’s a lot of long term people staying at this property and the only thing I would do next time is book upstairs because the people I had above us were up all night the two nights I stayed there. It was horrible and they would run the bath all night that we didn’t have running hot water in both rooms the next day!!! I wish the two bdrm had a kitchenette like the king rooms

I loved the rooms, I booked two rooms since I was traveling with family and I got the two bdrm and both rooms had my family comfortable since we could have our own privacy.

Definitely a bit of sound travel from other rooms but wasn’t too bad.

Loved the pool, close proximity to the boardwalk, and the spacious room :)

Pool time were 10am until 10pm - I would have liked to swim when I got up at 8am by 10am I’m up and ready to explore.

Came with a full size kitchen, but no pots, pans, or utensils. Maybe we should have realized and brought something? Spent a little more on this place to be able to save money on eating out, but that didn’t work out at all.

Location was perfect, not too busy at night but walking distance to downtown shopping and beach. Hotel was updated and clean. Microwave worked and fridge was a great size.

Later spa hours would be convenient and appreciated.

The bed was very comfortable. The indoor spa and swimming facility are quant but clean and refreshing. The hotel was close to the beach, nearby restaurants, and an awesome skatepark. I will definitely book here again.

walls are quite thin, could hear neighbors talking o easily. bed wasn't very comfortable. nice to have kitchen, but no kitchen height table or any kitchen tensils, etc. made it less useful.

The location was great! The staff was very friendly. Not fancy, but a clean and pleasant motel.

The noise level at the property is pretty high, not much insulation between the rooms (means banging, door opening/closing noises, bathroom noises through the night). People were smoking on the second floor balcony and it looks like there are some updates needed (some of the laminate floor boards had holes and no stopper in the bathtub, for example).

Rooms are modern with ample space, bedroom and kitchen areas were very clean, receptionist was super friendly and even helped with printing out a boarding pass.

We stayed an extra night and Friday night it got really loud and had possible drug activity a couple doors down. Got woke up by the person next door trying to open the connecting door thinking it was their bathroom door.

Staff was really friendly and Monday thru Thursday the property was really quiet and felt safe. Pool and spa were big and nice.
