Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They stated there was free breakfast on the website. There was no breakfast. There was a lock on the washer/dryer facility the entire time. Couldn’t wash clothes.
Close to the sea wall. Close enough to hear the water and seagulls. I saw No bugs anywhere at any time! I even checked the mattresses. Thank you!

The carpet is filthy. Socks would be "black" after walking on the carpet. Bathroom was clean and sheets/beds very comfy. Room was musty but it is near the beach....to be expected.
Beds were very comfortable. Great location near beach. Quiet room.

This is an older building so I was surprised at how neat it was and the attention to detail the housekeeping staff put in. You could smell the bleach. If you don’t smell bleach, it is NOT clean! No beach sand on the floors at all and every surface was spotless! Again, this is an older hotel but they take care of it.

The backlit pole sign was not lighted at night which made it difficult to find the motel. Upon arrival, our room had not been cleaned and we had to move to another room. The wall lights in the new room didn't work. After swapping bulbs and pulling furniture away from the wall I realized the lights were unplugged from the wall. They worked after I plugged them in. We wished they were brighter instead of so dim. Other than that it was a great affordable stay! THANK YOU! :)))

They put us in the back of motel hard to find the room...and there was a door connected to our room that go to another room but other then that it was good.
It's was clean had a few nats but other then that everything was good

There was a booger on the wall in my room, and my feet turned black on the bottom from walking around the room
The older lady that was working when I arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday was absolutely amazing (I didn’t get her name) she was so helpful and so nice we chatted for a second before we went to our room she was awesome

It is a little outdated. The tiles in my room were cracked and the water pressure was not great. Really would have liked breakfast included in the price. We stayed for 5 days and I had to ask after day 3 for them to come clean the room, we had not gotten any clean towels, linens, TP, or soaps restocked. They won’t come clean unless you ask them to during your stay.
The location was great. Less than a block from the beach, plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Beds were comfy.

The fact that I had to find a baby sitter for my 5lb dog. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 where pets were not allowed so this was a first and I did not like having to leave my dog with someone especially since he is old and 5lbs.

Kind of had a funny smell. But not much different than any other hotel.
I've stayed at this same hotel since it was the Beachcomber Inn every year since 2009. I never stay anywhere else. It's affordable, and a convenient location, and has everything I need. The rooms do look a bit nicer now.

Tourist zone hotel so it was overpriced as expected. Very dated. Carpet was gross, can't tell what color it was anymore.
Location is great, everything you need is less than 5 minute walk. Room was clean. Bed comfy. Didn't interact with staff except at check-in, all good.

The microwave refrigerator, lamps and the safe was very rusty. Also the floor needed to be vacuumed and I found socks on the floor by the sofa and they weren't ours.
We like the bed, it was very comfortable. The shower area was very nice. Also the workers were very friendly.

Rooms need updates, but everything was functional.
Was a Beachcomber Hotel. Tons of cable channels. Microwave, Frig/freezer, and coffee maker is nice for a motel 6. A few blocks from Walmart and a few other grocery/fast food places. A block from beach!! A good/safe area. Hard working/courteous staff. Super comfy beds
