The room i had the doors are a bit stiff to close, and the shower pressure isn't that strong either.

Its right next to the beach, less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach. Plenty of cafes and shops in walking distance that's about 10-30 minutes of walking.

Needs a refresh. Paint peeling from a flood upstairs, a little rust and furniture was wobbly. Coffee pot didn’t work

Noisy neighbors that came in late. An up front reminder to late guests on quiet hours would be helpful. They were blasting music until 11:30pm.

It's a beautiful location. Very roomy. There was a Keurig coffee maker with pods, which was nice.

Apartments ( we rented 2) was a little run down and both had a musty smell. I would rate them as ok at best. One shower over bath had a blocked drain.

It was a little disappointing that the pool wasn't available (but we were told beforehand). They didn't tell us, though, that for two full days there'd be loud drilling and pounding for some sort of remodel on the room just above us. Hopefully it's all finished now, though. Might be worth asking.

It was so clean and the location was great! The bed was also very comfortable. Loved seeing the ocean from the balcony!

The shower faucet was installed backwards so cold was hot and hot was cold also one of the shower drains didn't work so good.

Villa 4 was an excellent choice. Room was spacious as well as the patio.

The plumbing was bad. Standing water in the shower, slow drains, and unpredictable hot water. Plugs for chargers were in all the wrong places. No A/C so not a destination as the temps climb (top floor unit would warm up quick!). WiFi was really not functional.

The location was awesome, just steps from the beach. The unit was clean and decorated nicely. The private patio was amazing. It was a great space with lots of windows (fresh air and light!). It really made a great first impression.

Not enough cookware in the kitchen. No cookie sheets or oven safe cookware. Need to have toaster tongs. 10:00 am checkout is too early considering we couldn’t check in until 4:00. Not accommodated for a requested early check in.

My only complaint was the lack of amenities in the kitchen. They lacked food storage so if we had leftovers from cooking we had to very much improvise how to store them. We ended up going to the grocery store for some food storage. They didn’t have a cookie sheet so it was difficult to warm food up in the oven. We had read in past reviews that the coffee pot with four pods was not cutting it for other guests so we brought our own coffee pot all together in order to make a sufficient amount of coffee for four adults each morning. Overall it just felt like it was very, very bare minimum in the kitchen.

My husband and I booked this trip to take my elderly parents and two young children to the beach. It was such a wonderful weekend. The unit we stayed it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location from the beach was so convenient and the easy parking made it easy to access your vehicle and get to other parts of town.

- Kuerig pod coffee maker only, would be nice to offer a french press or drip device & filters - Hairdryer is a really small travel size one, kinda dried my hair out, recommend bringing a serum to protect the hair if you want to use it - Safe in the closet was out of order

Stayed in Villa 9 in late January, the groundfloor suite next to the pool. Each unit has its own parking spot right next to the building. Loved the location - right across from the beach & walkable to Carlsbad, sunset visible from the suite. Walked to coffee shops for breakfast. Felt safe getting back alone at 3am, the streets were empty, just a few cars hanging out at the beach parking lot but no camper vans and no weird energy or noise. Huge fridge & lovely kitchenette. Security cameras overlooking pool & suite entrance.

Didn't realize the property didn't have a/c, wasn't a big deal due to it being winter but it was still a bit on the warm side.

Wonderful location and a very cute property! Parking was a nice bonus and the common areas were very clean and enjoyable.

Safe was broken, the bathroom door had no handle inside. In general this apartment could use a fresh layer of paint and having some basic maintenance done. The cleaning staff left the gate open constantly.

Cosy place with a nice atmosphere. Kitchen included everything needed. Superb location right by the beach. Good bed.

Noise from other rooms (mostly above) and staircase outside of building. A little worn and a little outdated. Not luxurious, but more than comfortable enough to be a “home away from home” for a short period of time.

Unit #2. Outstanding location. 50 yards to the beach. 1 block from Carlsbad city center. 1 parking spot (for small car). Fully equipped kitchen. Gas BBQ. 2 full bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Relatively quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Ceiling fans. Hot shower with plenty of water pressure. Heater worked because it got down to upper 40s at night. Three TVs.

Sound proofing needs to be better, particularly between the room and the office as we could hear all conversations in the office. There was also a lot of noisy footsteps above us starting before the sun came up. We would also suggest a rack in the shower for soap, etc. since leaving it on the shower floor is not acceptable.

The location is excellent, especially for the cost.
