Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaCold. Heating is bad. I brought a electric throw and covered up my grandson. My husband and I endured the cold. If I stayed again I would need a heater

United States of AmericaWater was heavy with iron and had a brown tint when the facility started to get a lot of people. Eating options were limited unless you drove 10-15 minutes.
Nice facility with large bungalows/condos for a very reasonable rate. Staff was very friendly, wifi had good range (through extenders) and there was private access to the beach (although it's not RIGHT THERE - took about 5 minutes to get to the water).

United States of AmericaThe grounds could be better kept. Bushes trimmed and weeds pulled. The building is old and smelled musty. I would recommend some air fresheners, free breeze or something.
It's close to the beach. Has a pool, watch area and Bon fire pit and playground. It was very quiet. I like that the beach is quiet and private. It was a great, quiet weekend.

CanadaIf the hot tub was away from the games room. Hard to relax when people were hanging out in there.
The rooms were great. They had everything we needed. Beds super comfy. The pool area was awesome. The best part was the beach. It was gorgeous. I wouldn't call the place a resort and not sure about the condos in the name neither, but we really enjoyed the place and would stay there again. I would describe it more as a campground with really nice cabins. It would beva great place to have a family reunion.

United States of AmericaThere were quiet a few things unsafe for children. Part of the flooring near the door was coming apart and paint was heavily chipping. Definitely not safe for my daughter to crawl around on. Toilet was coming off the floor so it would rock back and forth almost while using. The “walking bridge” to get to the beach is practically a death trap. It’s mostly in the water being held up by rope and floaties. Boards and rails were missing and falling apart. Truly not at all safe for a child let alone an adult to cross. Cleaning definitely couldn’t have been better. I brought my own vacuum in case of sand but ended up filling it with dog hair even though we don’t have a dog. Dishes haven’t been properly cleaned. Floor boards look like they have never been cleaned. If you plan on cooking, bring your own measuring stuff, cookware, knives etc because they are nonexistent. Hot-tub was basically no hotter than bath water.
We loved that the location was close to the beach as well as fairly close to a driving beach access that wasn’t overpopulated. The amount of shells and sand dollars found on the beach here was absolutely insane. Loved that there was a playground in the middle which was viewable by almost any room that you are in. Staff was incredibly friendly. Check in and out was super easy. Bed was surprisingly comfortable!

United States of AmericaI saw the reviews before I booked my stay hoping they were exaggerated or maybe I would get a remodeled unit. Additionally the photos shown online…I was also hoping they were current pics. But the truth is the online pics are either touched up or they are from years ago when it had been remodeled because the property is extremely outdated. The lawn and landscaping were unkept and overgrown. The furniture could have been from the yard sale, second hand store because it is all oddball stuff with wear and tear on them. A bedsheet was covering the couch cushions and I was afraid to see what was underneath! Dirt on the baseboards. Dried funk on the kitchen sink strainer…etc. Was it filthy…NO it was not!! But attention to the details had left the building like Elvis and the 70’s checked in and didn’t leave.
The location is great. Essentially beachfront with dunes and grasslands between the facilities and the Ocean

United States of AmericaThe kitchen supplies were a bit sparse. We had another couple visit for dinner & they had to supply additional plates. In all fairness it is a only a one bedroom cabin for 2 people. Different furniture & a few updates would make the cabin more visually appealing but it was comfortable & adequate. The electric fireplace is a cozy addition we enjoyed. As for cost, we believe it was over priced but it's obviously a struggling economic area with a short season so its understandable.
Beachwood has a great near-beach location & was perfect for our clam digging adventure. They have a nice indoor clam cleaning area which we appreciated. Check in was easy & staff was pleasant & helpful. We were there early spring for a clam tide so the resort was quiet & not crowded. There is a wonderful area for children to play & appears to beca nice family oriented facility.

United States of AmericaA little more attention to cleaning. The refrigerator had the same stains as a couple weeks before. All in all a good safe place to stay though.
We love the location and the property!! We look forward to being able to use the clubhouse and swimming pool when it is up & running. It's a nostalgic location that is just a light walk to the ocean. We are seriously considering a family holiday like Thanksgiving there!!

United States of AmericaBeach was close and very nice. Unit was comfortable. Not luxurious in any way, but comfortable. Bed was good. Kitchen adequately equipped. No spices, cooking oil or any of that, just dishes, pots and pans, toaster, micro, utensils. Also, a good restaurant, the Green Lantern Pub and Grill is just a short distance away. And a really fine restaurant, Ocean Crest, is not that far.
