Most games where not functional in the game room. With it being a resort there was no snack bar, restaurant or coffee bar to my knowledge on site. With parking only available on one side having to find parking close to your unit was a little tough, recommend a signing at least one spot in front of your unit.

Great resort with nice amenities. Chalet style accommodations set in a wooded area away from noise and traffic was very restful. Stores and restaurants close by (can walk to Walmart and groceries).

The only thing preventing me from giving 10 stars is the air in the water park area. The chlorine was so strong we could not fully enjoy our time there. At one point we had to leave after 15 minutes because my husband and myself were unable to breathe and to be honest I almost passed out.

The water park had ventilation issues, which led to the chlorine smell being very strong. My kids kept having coughing fits so we had to leave. After they opened the door to outside, it was able to air out properly and the kids were able to stay and play. The dish washer in our room didn't work, which led to last minute hand washing dishes before checkout.

The resort was clean and the price was great for March. The kids had fun at the water park and gave us something to do during bad weather. There are a lot of amenities outside, which will be great during warm weather. The hiking trail was really nice.

I was not aware that the buildings were separated and that we would have to drive or walk to the building with the pool/splashpad/water slides. We were close and it wasn't a big deal per say but it would have been nice to know before our stay to better prepare (it was a cold and rainy weekend). I do wish there was more seating or benches around the indoor pool area, we were there on a very busy weekend.

Our suite was very nice and spacious. We were there for a short overnight stay just to get out of town (we live 40 minutes from the OBX) but next time I do plan to bring food because there was a refrigerator and oven and a dining room table that sat 6. Everything was very clean and the staff members were all helpful. Check-in was easy and quick. The resort is tucked back behind the Walmart and there is a Food Lion across the road as well; I found this to be very convenient to our stay.

Just one. If you get a suite with a loft you're up on the second floor. It's a lot of stairs if you have any kind of physical disabilities. Also a lot of trips up and down with luggage and food bags. I'd get a 2 bedroom lower suite next time for myself.

Our suite was wonderful. Kids loved it. They love the pool, daily activities and location. Staff was great. Easy to get around. I love the suite. Comes fully stocked with towels, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pans, utensils, and linens. Dishwasher, Washer & dryer so convenient!. Got up every morning and enjoyed coffee out on the deck and listen to the birds sing! It's a 5 min drive to the beach. The resort has a parking lot for you to use right across from the beach. We flew kites and got lots of sea shells. Aquarium was great. 30 minute drive Wal-Mart is a 2 minute drive to get groceries. Loved it!

We asked on booking and a week out that 2 suites be as close as possible traveling with church youth fir 4 days 3 nights We had 12 kids and 4 adults Suites are too far apart. Last full day water park not accessible due to malfunction Left cooler in closet given exact location Staff rude when called to see if found Told would go check Never called back Called again rude again Either staff cleaning room took it and did not turn I. Or ignored it, and another guest took it.

I don’t care for the property being so far away from everything else in the OBX. The water park is not supervised and children are causing smaller kids to get hurt.

The walls are paper thin, so hopefully, you do not have noisy neighbors late at night. The indoor pool could have been a little warmer.

We love how clean it is. Everything is close by. The pool had great long hours. Staff was very accomadating.

One of the staff members kept offering us free nights if we go to a 90 minute sales presentation early in the morning on the day we checkout, it kind of lowered our rating a little bit of this place but, overall great experience.

there were some older kids in the little kid slides making it harder for the smaller ones to enjoy themselves while we were there. my younger kinds both got hurt because of bigger kids using the slide incorrectly.

my kids love the water park, and there is always enough to keep busy without having to leave and spend a ton of money elsewhere.

There was some mold and mildew in some rooms, and very strong smells. BUT the staff was super helpful and kind and let us room in another place!

My room felt like it minimally cleaned. When I mentioned them moving my room because of the clumps of hair in the shower and filthy floor, they offer maid services. They never came and I cleaned the room myself. Never seen a towel exchange service. You have to sit all used towels outside the door to get new ones. Upon exit you have to take your own trash to the dumpster. The dumpster was not very close to my room. My keys also deactivated right before our departure, locking us out. For the cost in the off season, compared to the amount of things to do, I would rate the stay 6/10. Not that enjoyable. And I probably will not be back.

I enjoyed the water park. I also dont think they have enough activities. The basketball court was surrounded by weeds. Very reluctant to go over there because of where it’s located and the coverage of foliage. It should be easily visible and clear for safety.

kitchen toilets and shower were all very dirty. Moldy dirty in the kitchen, something that would scrub away easily. Toilets and shower had the last guest hair in them and not cleaned well. Outside stairs were dark and crazy. Light are must need and some tread add to the wood.
