Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hotel itself is a little outdated.
Having a city view was great. The location of the hotel was good for my needs. Lots to do within walking distance. Just know that on weekends alot is closed in the area. Jayce at the front desk was kind and attentive.

AustraliaThe restaurant had limited menu options and all fairly expensive. We were staying on the 3rd floor and although in a nice room, there was a lot of noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms. We only found one staff member (the lady who checked us in) helpful. One male staff member looked down his nose at us as if our request was ridiculous (we asked for washing up liquid and tea towel and cloth so we could wash up our crockery etc). The locality to other earring places was limited. The photos of the place on this site were very different from reality. The $30 per day resort charge is ridiculous given the small provisions given - no kettle, just a coffee machine, two pods of coffee, and two small bottles of water. I asked whether there was a resort fee and this was denied by the person checking us in, but was clearly on the invoice. therefore an extra $150 US.
We paid for a upgrade to a small suite which meant we had a larger room with a small kitchenette. This was very handy as we were able to prepare our own breakfasts for the five nights we were there, saving considerable money and having options. A washing machine and dryer were available to guests at minimal charge.

United States of AmericaThis place has definitely seen better days. The first thing I noticed was the small check-in desk with some snacks and cleaning products behind the desk for sale, reminding me of a hostel and not a professional "corporate hotel" that they bill this as. The second thing I noticed was when I went up to my floor and the smell of mildew and stagnant air hit my nostrils. The saving grace was that the room was clean and spacious and for a few days, it was fine. But anything longer, I would have checked into another hotel.
I was only staying in DC a few days and wanted an affordable place to stay that allowed pets since I was traveling with a dog. The check-in process was easy, and the staff was friendly. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and two metros so it was convenient.

United States of AmericaThe room was pretty run down. The accessibility bars were weak and there was rust on the ceiling of the shower. The shower heads looked pretty dirty, too.
It's in a central location with great walkability. The lobby was cute, and the staff was helpful and kind.

United States of AmericaIt was a bit old fashioned, the furnitures and machines were old and used many times. The TV and the fridge were also old, fridge was loud. We were in a big room however the sofa and the bad were separated and the sofa was in a dark place and nothing else. We didn't use that space because the TV was in front of the bad. First the water was black, later on it cleaned out with usage.
The location was great, close to the city center! Everyone was kind and take care of us. We extended our stay with 2 more nights and they manage that quickly and easy. We were able to communicate with the reception via text, super comfy!

United States of AmericaWe upgraded the room to a kitchenette and a City view. The room only had one very narrow window (about 32" wide) and it was dark, we were very disappointed and the front desk staff said it was all they had for a Double Double Junior Suite and they all were the same.
