Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaGetting in and out of the parking lot safely is tricky because there is limited space to turn. The rooms have clothing irons attached to rusted chains, partly open battery cover on the smoke detector (still functional), and styrofoam blocks stuffed in front of the cable box to prevent removal. Don't get me wrong, the linens and room are completely clean. But it's like visiting a motel from 1997.
Cheapest and I mean the cheapest place in town. Greeted by name on arrival. Room is sanitized with no smells, no stains, no bugs. The owner is clearly working very hard to keep this motel in business despite some unsavory guests in the area. Don't be surprised to see a big list of rules in the office stating no pets, no visitors, no cooking in room, no porn movies...

United States of AmericaThe owner seemed exceptionally paranoid about everything - made the clients feel like potential criminals. He treated everyone like they were little children who needed to be scolded. On the morning of checkout, he paced the parking lot (despite how small it was) for three hours - like he was just waiting to catch someone at something.
Air Conditioned room.

United States of AmericaOlder gentlemen who checked me in was pretty rude and and intrusive. Never stated bicycles were not allowed before I made my reservation and he charged me $10 extra to keep my expensive and clean bicycle inside the room. The next morning he knocked on the door at 08:55 demanding I checkout by 9 (even though the sign says 10:00). It's not the first bad experience I've had at these cheap motels in Los Angeles area. Just spend the extra $20 and get a real room at a nicer hotel.
Decor was modern and nice. Room appeared fairly clean.

FranceWe wanted a non smoking place. We slept in a smoking bed, it was awful. We booked 3 nights, we stayed only 2 nights. The smell was horrible. Our clothes still stinked 3 days after we left the room.. Plus we had cockroaches.

United States of AmericaHotel manager was creepy and micromanging, he made me feel unwelcome and unsafe in my room because he kept bothering me everyday about little things. Long list of rules not normal for a motel. Blankets were thin, parking lot small
Location was close to downtown long beach. The room was good size, there was hot water and bed was firm.

United States of AmericaThe parking is not good because the parking is such that you have to back up the car into the street (Pacific Coast Highway) which is potentially dangerous. The location is in an industrial location but I knew that beforehand. I paid $40 for an unspecified reason unless it was for the key, although the owner was clear that he was not taking any deposit from me. So what was the unrefunded $40 for? There was no microwave in the room.
The room was good. The bed and space in the room was good. The bathroom which were separate from the bedroom was very nice.

United States of AmericaDisgusting. I’ve never seen a hotel so dirty, stained pillows, dirty soiled sheets, no fitted sheet just one flat. bugs hair dirt everywhere. Owner forced himself in room, told me if I wanted clean sheets I’d have to wash them or he’ll call the cops. Promised a refund and was forced out after the first night, charged for 2 nights no refund. Missed dodger game lost 400 for that. He was harassing us for 4 hours straight.

United States of AmericaI didn't like the management experience, he was demanding at the beginning and at the end of the stay. He also was so demanding on where to park and investigating my car and looking thru the glass window like if he was a police and saying if we had pets in the room, he was knocking on the door and harassing my wife when I was in the restroom. He was banging at the door at the end of the stayed at 9:30 in the morning like if he was the police to hurry up and leave. Who in the right mind does that to there customers. Me and my wife knew the time of checking out. He was harassing all customers and standing outside the parking lot waiting for everyone to leave before 10:00 am. I don't recommend this place. If I was you I'll go elsewhere.
I like the room and the bed was comfy.

United States of AmericaWay overpriced, should be 50$. I would say its a halfway house motel. Room was not clean, hair was all over the sheets. The ac/ heater was so dirty i slept in the cold, because i didnt want to turn it on. There was a chair in the room that looked like a biohazard. Literally had a giant mass of something encrusted on the cushion, right in the middle and a serious dirt layer on the metal parts. Like it was pulled from the alley behind the location. The staff was very, very rude!. I understand why because the other people that were staying there and in the area, but thats not everyone. 0 out of 10, or -5
Location was close to appointments

United States of AmericaAt the time of booking the reservation on booking.com, the manager greeted me with "Only Accept Credit Cards No Cash and also if card given on booking.com is not valid or does not goes for pre authorization reservation will be cancelled by default." I thought there could have been a slightly more welcoming greeting. On my first night at the motel, I stepped out of my room to grab something from my car; but I forgot my room key. The manager charged me $20 to let me back into my room.
It was the least expensive motel available. . . . The manager allowed me to check in very early (7:30 AM) on my first day and park my car there for both days.
