Beautiful hotel and great restaurant

Shower leaked, room safe didn’t work, amount of time it took front desk to get me additional towels to mop up floor where shower leaked (and lack of concern from front desk attendant). View from room, guest parking is ridiculously far away from room, fire pit outside didn’t work. Price we paid was not a good value for what we received.

Size of room, cleanliness of room, comfortable beds, restaurant, our shuttle driver (can’t remember this hotel employee’s name but he was on original staff who opened hotel restaurant) was awesome and deserves a big shout out. Overall a good stay and overall a very pleasant staff, but didn’t meet our expectations.

Let people lounge and swim according to weather

Pool was closed Iwas ready for a swim on May5th 78 degrees no,pool towels and closed. Pool water looked fine would have loved a swim and a lounge chair in the sun! Disappointing😂😂

Have handicap parking near the rooms. None that I could locate.

For such a nice boutique hotel it would be great to have a good home cooked breakfast included in the night rate.

Pool was closed for season, balcony had pretty terrible view, wedding party our first night in so the bar/dining area was closed.

Spacious rooms, walk-in shower, location and closeness to the water. Beautiful views and incredibly friendly staff.

Everything. We love the staff. We love the grounds. The rooms feel like home away from home. So clean and luxurious. Miss it always when not there.

Parking options. Either you park off the property, or you pay to have the valet park your vehicle and then tip them. I have no problem tipping but to pay to park stinks.

The hotel overall was fabulous. We would definitely come back if you had other parking options. I don't feel you should have to pay for parking at a hotel that you're paying to stay at.

Parking is limited but you are doing a great job to handle issue with excellent valet staff. You need some smaller bed pillows….You see I have had to stretch to find something for this question. I think the true answer is that I need more time to stay with you.

Food was super pricey for dinner for a small steak portion and salad and the bar charged my friend and me two split fees to share both at the bar (we also ordered a bottle of wine). Had we known, we would have just ordered 1 item each and split it ourselves. That left a bad taste for both of us.

Other than my negative below, bartender/server was fantastic, room was nice, front desk was great, etc. All and all, a very good stay and experience.

They don't begin serving breakfast until 8am. Perhaps this is because its off season. We went to find an appropriate snack for breakfast in the snack room but there were really only candy bars.

A beautiful hotel! We were expecting it to be nice, but it was more swank than anticipated and, for the price (granted, it was in February) it was a great deal. I called them last minute to see if we could bring our dog and they put us in a pet room - would have never known it was a pet room as it was very clean and beautiful - and on the first floor with a screened porch that let out onto a grassy area allowing us to easily walk our dog. It was very peaceful, down the road from the town area of Beaufort. Water and boats pulled up to the property (picture included). Will definitely stay here again!

Parking was not convenient unless you wanted to pay for valet which was expensive for an extended stay. Valet staff very accommodating.

Rooms were very nice and roomy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was good in restaurant.

Very little insulation between floors. Could hear the people above us walking around, moving furniture, etc

Breakfast was very good. Nice views from the dinning room. Lovely staff.
