The location was very good, very central to good restaurants and water activities. Also very clean, good sized bedroom and bathroom. Lovely home cooked breakfast and very welcoming host Tina.

Spacious, clean room with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was a variety of choices for breakfast as well as snacks available at any time. The fresh baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch! Tina was very welcoming and even let me pick out the room I preferred from the ones that were available. I felt very safe staying there as a woman by myself.

The host is lovely. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious. It's a revamped retirement home so it feels a bit odd but in a really nice way! The host Tina left out cookies and fresh lemonade every day. For the price it was absolutely great.

The only thing we can say is that you can here neighbors walking down the hallway.

We liked our stay and we liked the location. It is close to everything and you also can walk to most places. Tina (the host) is great and supported us with information and a nice breakfast.

Building is a former nursing home, and sometimes you'll still get a whiff of the typical smell... it didn't bother us, but more sensitive persons could be disappointed.

Tina (our landlady) went above and beyond to satisfy our needs, we even could choose our room from 3 rooms available! :-) Very good breakfast, perfect memory foam mattress, good suggestions about places to eat in the neighborhood, walking distance to 'downtown' Crystal River

Seemed like it had an old nursing home feel.

The breakfast was great. I had blueberry pancakes that were freshly picked by the cook. My husband had a breakfast sandwich that he said was good. Spacious room and comfortable bed. It was a very laid back check in.

The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Tina goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful. There are snacks available all the time. We will be staying at Beautiful Beginnings anytime we are in the area.

Breakfast was way more than typical hotel continental fare in quality and scope. Treats, coffee, tea available 24 hours. Clean facility and manager was available and very accommodating.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I learned we were staying at a renovated "senior citizen's home", but our stay did not disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. Everything was exceptionally clean and Tina, one of the staff members, was very accommodating and attentive. It was close to the downtown area and local eateries and shops. We would definitely stay again when visiting Crystal River.

We met Bob the owner and he was very nice but Tina, the manager was amazing. She was so accommodating and extremely helpful. She made us want to return soon. The bedding was very fresh and sooo comfortable. The breakfast sandwich was fresh and hot with fresh fruit. Very well run place.
