Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn't like how the clerk made fun of my last name. He kept repeating it and giggling. Saying in a sarcastic tone of voice.

United States of AmericaThere is almost no sound barrier. We could hear conversations in the room next to us and lots of sounds we didn't want to hear from above us. I'm not sure they provided breakfast as their ad said but we could be wrong. We walked around and didn't see it. Our phone to call the front desk was out of commission.
Our room was clean and the hotel is pet friendly. The person who checked us in was friendly.

United States of AmericaI did not know that their were three separate buildings- none with elevators, so you are left to drag your luggage up the stairs. in addition, so close the the freeway, separate buildings like that with little lighting did not feel secure at night. For the price of $239 per night, I was not expecting to feel insecure and to wrangle my bags. Also, my room key never worked, so I had to drive back to the main building every time I had to get back into my room.
The beds were nice, the breakfast had multiple choices.

United States of AmericaGarbage all around the Hotel. Homeless people living in their cars in adjacent parking lot. Homeless people camping right behind hotel along creek. Constantly smoking marijuana. Smoke would drift into hotel through open hallway doors. Still no hot breakfast. Several other hotels serving. ALL the restaurants are open so you cannot use COVID as an excuse.
Very comfortable room but, too many bad points ruined the overall stay...

CanadaOverall the property is dated and generally more could be done to improve light in hallways and rooms.
For an unexpected stay, this hotel delivered solidly on the basics - clean room and solid internet. It is located directly across from Bellis Fair Mall and several stores so access to shopping is excellent.

CanadaWhen we arrived the heat to the room was turned off, so the room was freezing. I turned on the heat and it sounded like a jet engine, taking off throughout the night. It would kick in to heat the room and wake me up. That night when I tried to take a shower. There was no hot water. In the morning, I was able to get some hot water, but it ran out before I finished showering. Furthermore, when you did shower, there was a leak in the tiles and it would fill the bathroom floor with water. I told the staff and they said they would look into it, but nothing came of it. Lastly, the room smelled of mildew or some kind of dampness. There were eight poorly done patches on the ceiling where you could tell some kind of water damage had occurred.
The location was good and the staff were nice.

United States of America-Dining area appeared unstaffed and deserted- few items available. Food was in the basement of a separate building across city street. -Parts of accommodation grounds were unkempt, unweeded, overgrown. -Hot tub out of service with faded & torn signage. -Odd LED colored lighting in public areas that was in keeping with Asian or Indian decorating tastes, but combined with older hotel decor, added to sense that facility was haphazard and poorly managed. -Silverfish found in room -Stairs to 3rd floor room were unswept and dirty- at first appeared to be an unused part of the large facility -Leaves and paper garbage around buildings- some areas obviously unmanaged -Kitchenette in room with random dishes and utensils- stovetop dirty, cupboards/drawers worn and unpainted inside with raw plywood -I would not stay in this property again
