Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainRoom could use better lighting and additional mirrors. Not a big deal but just a suggestion :)
- toilets were equipped with bidets (شطافه) I would give them five stars for that alone as an Arab. -I was worried about the bed not being comfortable based on previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Mattress is medium in firmness and was extremely comfortable to sleep in.

United States of AmericaThe beds were like rocks and the bottles of water in the fridge had little tags that I had, at first, mistaken for coupons. In fact, they were notices that each bottle would add $3 to my tab. For $300 a night, you’d think a couple of bottles of water and decent toilet paper rather than single-ply sandpaper wouldn’t be too much to ask.
The location, the roominess of the apartment and the ability to carry out our medical treatment at the Mayo Clinic without having to be crammed into one room made our trip much better.

United States of AmericaIf I could reflect on any thing the bed was a little firmer than we prefer and we also prefer king size pillows on a king size bed. Overall though, we were VERY comfortable and happy with our stay.
The expert level of cleanliness and care that used in caring for this building was incredible. It was so quiet and we never heard any other guests. The layout of the apartment was open and airy. We felt right at home while being so far away from home. Our visit was specifically for the Mayo Clinic and it was the perfect retreat each day to rest and reset for our week of appointments. We utilized the hotel shuttle for all of our appointments and it was so convenient, clean, and easy to use. An additional perk was the free coffee! It was delicious and felt like a coffee shop each day. Also, the in room laundry was amazing!

United States of AmericaMy only complaint about the property is that the beds were really uncomfortable. The first few days I had a hard time getting to sleep because of it— the mattress was hard as a rock! The sheets were also paper thin, and I had to use a heated blanket to stay warm.
Really lovely amenities and an excellent location. Staff was also incredibly helpful! Would absolutely stay here again in the future anytime I’m in Rochester.

United States of AmericaThe mattress could be better quality. It was ok but since everything else is high end thought the mattress would be extra comfy.
Great location, felt very safe, new building with great amenities. I was in the 6th floor and it was very quiet and big room. Loved that it was an apartment so did my laundry and cooked the whole time I was there.

United States of AmericaEverything was perfect! From check-in to check-out I was impressed with everything this property and its staff offered. I'll be back again soon!
If you are a Mayo patient, THIS is where you want to stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for those who are being seen at St. Mary's, which is right across the street. The main Mayo campus is about a 15 minute walk or a free shuttle is also available. The rooms are spacious and feel like a home away from home, fully equipped with everything you might need. My room was impeccably clean and I felt 100% safe at all times. There's a wonderful mini market located in the lobby in case you need extra snacks, a light meal, or toiletry items. There's also a full service restaurant but I didn't have the opportunity to try it this trip. I plan on staying again very soon and I hope to check out the other amenities on the property including the rooftop pool. This will always be my first choice when staying in Rochester!

United States of AmericaThis is more of a 'would be nice' rather than a 'didn't like': We would have loved if the restaurant downstairs did room service and was open earlier than 11am. However picking up the food to go worked too.
We were visiting relatives in Rochester and rented a suite at the Berkman. The space was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Very much like a little home rather than a hotel. We immediately felt very comfortable. There was plenty of room for my young daughter and I to relax and recharge. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were clean and modern. The key system was very modern, pairing with a phone. A key card option was also available. An 24-hour automated small store with packaged food and travel conveniences was nice to have.

United States of AmericaThere was a few things you should To To take care of a few minor things in the room: light in master bedroom wasn’t working and the drape in master has a ring off the rod. Also, it appears there is no light for the shower area in the master.
