Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No utensils. A bit more expensive than what I think it was worth. A bit too dark in the room, too. Not enough light, natural or otherwise.

Bathrooms and plumbing need more work.
Rooms have been renovated, beds are very good. Laundry facility is excellent.

The floor of our room was sticky. The floor lamp was broken. The sink didn't drain properly.
Location was fine. Breakfast was very good -- hot and cold options. The beds were very comfortable.

Scrambled eggs were cold. Bagel slicer didn't slice bagel. Toaster didn't work right - came out burnt regardless of setting. Too much big furniture for room size. Ceiling wet over bed after raining hard all day but didn't leak. Upper level walkways were slippery even when not raining.
Good selection for breakfast. Near interstates for easy on and off. Close to restaurants, gas, food, and shopping.

Thé sink in the bathroom drained very slowly, the fridge leaked on the floor and the TV remote did not work
i had a special request for a very early breakfast which was granted. Front desk personnel was nice

I was miss lead because on the travel website it said there was American breakfast but when I got their it was some fake pastry and coffee .I feel this was misleading

The room was small, Pretty much was a studio.Very old fashioned & very visible stains on furniture.

No interior corridors. Advertised breakfast, but it was, taking into a count the pandemic , very minimal. Thermos coffee urns and bagels, corn flakes and milk. For the rate, they could have done better. The previous night, not far away we paid much less and got a hot breakfast, juices, brewed coffee, and staff smiles.

The tub didn’t drain out so you were standing in water during your shower. The filter on the air conditioner was so dirty as was the filter in the bathroom.
It was ok but I think you should have offered a fruit like bananas, oranges or a fruitcup.

Room and sheets were clean. Bathroom has been updated but rug was disgustingly dirty with spots. Mattresses were lumpy. Furniture was dated and broken. Room was subpar and depressing. For $109 I can do better than that.
Front desk clerk was wonderful, pleasant and helpful. The lobby was very nice, clean and cheerful.

The location was not great it was not quiet or walkable the clientele was less than desirable the room was not bad the toilet ran and the carpet was stained. The free breakfast was not worth the effort.
