Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe walls were a bit thin and could at times hear people next to me, was not a big deal at all. The bed blankets were also a tad thin, granted I do like to keep my room on the colder side, but just an observation.
I stayed for four days (alone) while hiking around Mount St. Helen's. Loved the location as it was close to the highway but far enough away where you didn't hear traffic. Loved the breakfast offered and the rooms were quite cozy. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. When I come back to St. Helen's, I'll be looking to stay at this place again.

United States of AmericaRoom 137 needs a maintenance man to tighten up hair dryer where it is attached to wall…..also check out chrome hand hold bar in shower….is loose.
We got the last room available…..a large king suite. The hotel was packed with teenage kids from various schools that were attending some sort of tournament. Hotel was noisy on Thursday evening when kids arrived…..quiet on Friday evening……kids were all tired and went to sleep. Breakfast room was swamped with kids who wasted lots of food….made large waffles and only ate half. The hotel attendant in the breakfast room did an excellent job replenishing food and staying ahead of the crowd.

United KingdomOn the Saturday night the hotel was very busy with a lot of children staying and apparent party goers who didn't seem to realise that all the noise they made in corridors was loud in rooms. Despite that we had a room at the back which was very quiet at night and Sunday was very peaceful.
Modern hotel with free hot breakfast and a nice indoor swimming pool. Staff were very friendly. Close to restaurants and shops. We used it as a base for Mt St Helens. Room was not the biggest but did have a table and 2 chairs as well as the usual amenities like fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable. The guest laundry was very efficient and good value. There was an unexpected area power cut on the Sunday night which the staff handled well.

United States of AmericaWe'd like to have had access to an elevator close to the reception desk. We had to heft up our suitcases up the stairs.
The breakfast was perfect for those on the go. The staff was very attentive and kept an eye on the food bar to make sure everything was available and fresh.

United States of America2beds need more than 1table and 1 lamp! Extra blankets in rooms and at least one comfortable chair for reading is very helpful. Makes it highly uncomfortable for those with varying bedtime needs or schedule otherwise.
The breakfast was decent. Food basically ok and warm, but not geared for many of the diabetics need. This is still common—just not right. Bed very comfortable, room very clean. Staff quite friendly and accommodating. We needed a shower chair for my husband and they found one. So much safer for him. Thank you

United States of AmericaI booked through Booking.com which I will not use again. I was led to understand that I had booked two rooms each with two queen beds, but on arrival found that I'd booked two rooms with one bed each. I was about to leave, but the nice clerk found an alternative that worked for me. I rated the place higher because of his help. The Best Western is not a new or especially attractive motel, nor are the grounds spacious or inviting. It's definitely a 3 out of 5 so the $209 fee that I paid for each room was exorbitant, I thought. As for the Booking.com website; it's either deliberately indecipherable, or uses bait and switch tactics.
The breakfast was very good; plentiful and with several hot dishes.
