Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a strange smell in the hallway, but my room was fine. The heating/cooling unit was a little noisy, but it is in most hotels so that is nothing out of the ordinary.
The staff was extremely efficient and very friendly. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was ready when advertised and was adequate for a quick bite before driving home.

The hill at the entrance and the “road” that went through the entrance with the Burger King.

Ice machine broken all four days. Local Volunteer Fire Department siren interrupted an otherwise peaceful hotel a few times.

No USB port in the room. No spare charger at the front desk.

I did have to move twice - 1st room - the tv wouldn’t change channels, 2nd room wasn’t clean. I had to get two queen beds instead of a king bed- oh well Local traffic was noisy

The ice machine was broken, the vending machine was sold out, and the elevator was very small. The beds were uncomfortable and the location was not ideal because we had to drive 15 minutes to get to most retail and dining options in Zanesville. It would be fine if you were just stopping for the night while traveling on I-70, but if you intend to spend time in the area it's out of the way. The room also felt very small, but the bathroom was larger because we were placed in a Handicap Accessible room for some reason.
The breakfast was good and the hotel was pretty clean. The pool area looked very nice, although we didn't swim. Staff were all very friendly.

the staff was very unfriendly when checking Josie did not smile or say hello or anything but initial here and sign here here is your room the elevator is there when checking out the girl had a jacket on so I could not see her name acted like it was a huge inconvenience to print a receipt not what I am used to when staying at Best Western

In the morning there were at least 6-7 large flies behind the torn sheer curtain! It was creepy! I was afraid to pull back the darkening curtain for fear I would find something rotten behind it
The staff made ALL the difference, starting with Jodie, our check in team member. Then there was the young lady serving the breakfast. She was very attentive, keeping items hot that needed to be hot, keeping food stocked, and the trash can emptied.. Check out was also pleasant even when we asked for the bill to be split between my roommate and I

I WANTED TO CHARGE MY ROOM TO A SEPARATE CARD, WHICH I GAVE TO THE LADY AT THE DESK, ALONG WITH MY IDS. THIS IS PROTOCOL FOR MOST HOTELS. SHE CHARGED IT TO MY DEBIT CARD INSTEAD AND DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT MY ID TO SEE IF IT WAS ME. SHE ALSO RAN MY KEY CARD FOR ONE NIGHT INSTEAD OF THREE, SO I HAD TO WAIT FOR HER TO FIX THAT. OTHER THAN THAT, THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, IT WAS QUIET AND PEACEFUL AND THE ROOM WAS SO CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL AS WELL.
MY SON HAD STAYED HERE LAST YEAR WITH A FRIEND AND SAID HOW NICE IT WAS AND IT WAS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED WITH WALKING OF 3 PLACES TO EAT. WHEN WE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO LEGEND VALLEY, I KNEW THIS IS WHERE I WOULD BOOK FOR THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL. I WILL BOOK AGAIN WHEN IT LETS ME FOR NEXT YEAR, AS WELL!!!

The room was noisy. The air conditioning and fridge both clanged and banged. Getting to sleep was a bit of a challenge.
