You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Although not in the ideal location, it was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and it was only a 5 minute walk from the subway. We never felt unsafe, even walking at night. The complimentary breakfast and free parking was a bonus.

United States of AmericaBreakfast area: The furniture (sofas) can be improved since they are very deep and do not help to get up. Bathroom: the towel rack is far from the bathtub because it is over the toilet. The toilet paper is far from the toilet, it should be close.
I found the breakfast very good with a variety of foods to choose from. We found the breakfast area comfortable.

United KingdomQuick check in, we were tired of travelling. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location, quiet. 15 minute walk to the train station. Loved Coney Island itself (great for people watching, while kids enjoyed the Luna Park.

United KingdomThe location was fine, safe enough mostly, but it's right next to an overhead subway line, a police parking depot and a big concrete station plus numerous auto body repair shops, so it and the roads around it were surrounded by bits of cars, damaged cars, cement trucks, noise etc. A walk back from the subway late at night was safe enough, but it felt a bit sketchy with young kids.
Nice staff, comfortable rooms and decent breakfast, although the orange juice had run out before breakfast ended and wasn't restocked until breakfast had finished (with the machine being locked and a sign saying juices were only for breakfast)
