The amount of mayflies everywhere was crazy. Also the breakfast being upstairs was a little odd.

Cleanliness was a major problem. First room wasn’t cleaned by the time we checked in around 5 (an hour after earliest check in). The second room we got placed in had a stained bedsheet. The breakfast was lackluster with stale tasting eggs and ham.

Staff was friendly. They helped us through issues with our first two rooms and patiently relocated us as issues arose (first room wasn’t cleaned by the time of check in and second room had stained sheets)

The staff was very dry. We had issues with the room, and when we brought it up, it felt like we were bothering them. We got a room with a whirlpool tub, but every time we tried to use it, it smelled like electrical wires were burning.. There was a door tag with a blue side and a white side. Blue is to clean the room white is not to clean the room. Day one, blue side room wasn't cleaned Day two, blue tag roomed not cleaned. Day three, the same thing so I went to the front desk to at least get clean towels. Told the lady about the room not being cleaned. She looked at a room list and said that we had the privacy tag out. So apparently, I can't read, and I'm color blind. But oh well. The room served its purpose. But the location is amazing.

There was someone’s leftover food left in the refrigerator. If they missed that large take out container in the mini fridge, what else did they miss? There was a weird clanging noise coming from the pipes at random times. Walls are thin so a little noisy from the neighbors.

No continental breakfast available had to travel to a different hotel to eat and the pop/water machines weren't on

On the beach, pool was available but didn't use it, location was very close to everything we wanted to do. Ferry, food, casino, gas station and shopping

Heat was off, room was cold and took quite a while to warm up. Refrigerator was off. Difficult to get to room through series of ramps and stairs, then a second entrance door. Location of elevator not visible.

Room was large and clean. Breakfast room had good view of the straits.

We were told at check-in that breakfast was from 7-10am. We arrived at 9:15 and learned it was from 7-9am. Two other couples that were there got the same information. So, we left and went for breakfast somewhere else.

#1 All forms of tissue in bathroom/sink area =HORRIBLE...Gas stations have better! Seriously...unusually cheap & horrible!! #2 Left "please clean room" or whatever that other side of privacy sign says and we still had to ask for towels.... Didn't want or ask for room to be cleaned the other two days we were there, but when we did we had to finally ask for towels very early evening #3. Would've opted for king size bed and lake view... Not sure if that was available, maybe I missed it #4 screen to balcony was ripped, glad not any bugs out yet :-)

Lake view. Location to St. Ignace, Mackinaw city, Keyhole Bar & Grill & Dixie Restaurant. All staff we came in contact with was very nice and polite. Balcony to enjoy lakeview. Breakfast coffee/cream and muffins :-)

Too much chlorine in hot tub so eyes burned like fire. Couldn't be in the pool either. Out door set up so if weather is bad it would be difficult getting to the breakfast room.

The beds and pillows were the best ever! Great rooms and great value. Hot tub had way too much chlorine so couldn't enjoy it or the pool cause our eyes burned but beds and breakfast were great.

There wasn’t child locks on the sliding glass door going out to the beach. Wish their would have been a bar to go across the door for extra protection. Rooms were a little outdated but still comfortable.

Location was beautiful. Wish it would have been a summer trip, would have been perfect right on the beach! Gorgeous view waking up in the morning!
