They are in the process of renovation and I will save the front desk gave us the opportunity to look at the room. There were some issues, but we expected the beds to be comfortable however that was not the case. I wish they had closed the facility to complete all renovations prior to any bookings.

I didn’t like that every time we came back to our hotel room there were strange people hanging out outside our room and bugs seemed to always make their way inside when we would come back from dates…not to mention one of the house keeping workers almost unlocked our door while we were sleeping. We were alarmed when he tried using the hotel key to get in.

When I walked in the door the desk was empty. I could hear someone talking loudly on a cell phone. I got the attendants attentions and she stated she was on her way. But I could hear her continue her casual conversation laughing loudly and giggling (not English speaking). Finally her phone call was over and she helped me with no mention of the 2 or 3 minute wait for her talking to her presumably friend/spouse. Curtain rod ripped from drywall before we got there. 1/2" gap under the entry door and you can clearly see out and people can clearly see in. Had to go back to the office because my key card didn't work. Curtain was mounted incorrectly and had a 2 or 3 inch gap at the bottom. Again see in and out with it shut. Door was savagely pried into by someone, sketchy.

The management is rude and racist. The staff isn’t much better. I get it though, I’d be miserable to if I had to scrub toilets and pick up other peoples trash for a living. The housekeeper is also the managers husband or relative so when he come to service your room he reports back. I prefer you be upfront then try and be sneaky about it. There’s no grassy area for pets to use.

That it was pet friendly and had a kitchenette. Is was also quiet for the most part.

The bed, front desk agent, the roaches

I called the front desk to request a different room because the bed spring was broken and poking me through the mattress. The Indian lady at the front desk sent housekeeping who was extremely rude to look at it. She said maintenance was off and so I asked to be moved to another room. I was told that I am only staying 5 days. So I asked is that a reason not to move me? My husband went to the office to speak to her and then she called the room and told me to get off the property and that she was calling the police. I told her to call them that I will wait. Needless to say the police never came and I was never given the refund that I was told that I would get. I work in hospitality and that was absolutely the worst experience EVER.!!!!!!! People sometimes forget that it is the guest that frequent your establishment is the reason that they have a job. To threaten to call the police on a guest simply because you are having a bad day is crazy. I did not pay all of that money to sleep uncomfortable. A simple room change would have solved that problem, But instead I was threatened and I am still waiting on my refund. I would NEVER treat any guest that comes to the LaQuinta Hotel like this.

Ive seen 2 roaches since ive been here but ...the housekeepers clean the rooms inside and outside thoroughly and i havent spotted another one .extended my stay for another week

The kitchen and whole setup.people staying here seem friendly and it is a calm and quiet area.plenty of storage space and lots of things around Gwinnett place mall,sante fe mall,bahama breeze, many restaurants locally and within walking distance. Oh and they are pet friendly.
