There is nowhere to actually park for the hotel itself. 55 for valet parking when you don't have an option is not cool.

there is no restaurant on site. The pastry shop next door does not offer a complete breakfast. Staff was not engaging....ask a question get a short answer.....no clarification or assistance.

The hotel does not give occupants bottled water for the day/night. There’s a refrigerator without bottled water. Had difficulty finding the hotel as the Grant Hotel babe us actually shown on the side street. It took us to ask somebody and pointed the hotel next to them 😀. Glad we found it.

Rooms were clean, located in a quiet area of the city. The receptionist were so accommodating and friendly. They immediately helped us; answered our questions and concerns.

Quite a noisy neighborhood

I found that noise from the street could sometimes be disruptive late at night. There were also smaller things, like the towels being thin, but otherwise there were very few things that I did not like.

Excellent location, right next to Grant Park with very good public transit access a short walk away. When I went, the hotel had agreements with restaurants in the building that gave discounts to guests. The staff were also very nice.

Didn't get my wake-up call. And entering the bathroom I n my room was a tripping hazard.

A general restaurant rather ethnic on site, we tired of it for dinner and bad weather made eating elsewhere difficult. However, did offer good breakfast (not included but at very good discount)

Helpful staff e.g. to get taxi’s, good Asian restaurant on site, reasonable price, safe neighborhood. Good discount at restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Location was excellent for my conference in Chicago. Restaurant in the same building was unexpectedly healthful and not expensive. Having gratuitous 24 hour coffee in the lobby was a treat. I requested and received a room with a good view. Temperature control device was responsive.

The tub did not drain well at all and when we arrived there was no at the front desk. After waiting or 10-15 minutes we called the front desk and someone came out from the back right away.

The pillows were very flat and the coffee maker needed three runs of water before I stopped seeing mold in the cup.

Great value for the location. We could see the Field and Shedd from our window. It was an easy walk to the Red Line.

I was a little sad that they didn't have complimentary breakfast.

check in was quick and easy. Could tell the room was older, but very neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was on the small side, but clean!

Rooms a little outdated and smallish. Beds a little hard. Bathroom fan not able to be switched off, so noisy all the time.

Close to public transport, a little out of the main attractions, but transport close by to get to all attractions quickly. Breakfast Cafe next door. Free coffee in lobby.

No hot water in the shower. Seems to be a thing with Best Western hotels. Will probably pick a different hotel chain for future travels.

Time for updates to wallpaper in bathrooms our chair was broken and needed cleaning.

Loved the location off Michigan and 11th. It was close to many places downtown Chicago. Bus and train lines nearby as well.

While it was really nice to have a breakfast included it was mostly just prepackaged foods - it does seem like they are doing some renovations so this may be why. Our shower was a little tricky to get going. Not sure if this was just our room or a hotel wide situation.

The location was great as was the price - we were attending a conference at the Hilton and this was very close and a much more affordable property for us. It was nice to have the breakfast in the morning as well as tea and coffee available all day.
