To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We enjoyed a very friendly staff from check in throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good and exceeded expectations. I particularly enjoyed having the versatile coffee machine and the pancake robot is always awesome to see.

United States of Americaa damp musty smell like humidity in the carpet as we get off the elevator. We had to rush to the room. The staff who checked us in wasn't welcoming. I hope it wasn't because of the color of my skin. I believe great customer service should be a priority to ensure that customers are happy and willing to enjoy their stay. My family and I didn't feel that welcome atmosphere at all.
the staff who checked us out provided great customer service; he was really nice. The security guard on duty was a gentleman. He came to our room to give me my ID card that the front desk people forgot to return to me.

We needed to make an important telephone call to Miami (only a few miles away) for which we were happy to pay the cost, but the hotel would not allow us to use their phone. That might sound trivial, but it was extremely annoying. The smell as we exited the elevator on our floor was powerful and strange.
Conveniently located. Carparking was excellent. Most, but not all, of the front desk personnel were helpful.

The breakfast is continental, so, you will find eggs, potatoes, there is not always bacon... you will find oats, coffee, hot chocolate, pancakes, breads, cereals, and yogurts.
