Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn't like that parking at the hotel was an extra $22 per night.
Location was great for walking to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert. It was also very close to Walk of Fame attractions.

United KingdomThe lack of hot water to shower it was reported but still wasn’t Right complained on leaving and again was told nothing they could do, no compensation for 2 days cold showers. Was told to turn taps on and wait 20 mins to see if it warmed up this is not acceptable. Pool full of insects and leaves and freezing 🥶 cold. Pool towels tiny bit big enough to dry with.

SwedenIf you want a quiet place, you his is not your hotel: it’s located by a very big avenue and you can hear the traffic even with door and windows closed.
Well located to visit Hollywood (walk of fame is at walking distance, around 10min), parking right directly under your room, room service and new towels every day

United States of AmericaThis is a 2-star hotel, so adjust your expectations accordingly. These downsides are not dealbreakers but can be annoying. The door and window face the outside walkway, so you can hear people walking by your door and traffic from the street. (In general, noise levels are low, but beware if you are sensitive to noise.) Additionally, parking spaces were incredibly tight, the blankets were thin (although you can request more), and room circulation wasn't great.
For a brief LA trip (especially for those who are going to Universal Studios), this hotel is perfect. It is very affordable and relatively safe (all the rooms are on the 2nd floor or higher). It has all the necessities, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a safe, soundproofing between rooms, reliable WiFi, and parking. Rooms also include a fridge and microwave, which my group found incredibly useful. And of course, the location is unbeatable.

United KingdomThere are lights outside the rooms which don’t go off, even with black out blinds it feels like sunshine is pouring in at all hours which was awful! The shower temperature is intermittent, seems to vary in heat depending what time you shower. Rooms are on the smaller side.
It’s a well placed property for Hollywood. Parking is easy and a good rate.

New ZealandLocation is good if you want walking distance to the walk of fame, but there’s nothing else outside. Not the hotel’s problem of course but to keep in mind. It’s a bit dated but not too bad.
The staff was great - someone staying in the room before us was smoking weed and it was very noticeable so we ask the staff to change the room and they accommodated. Checking in/out was fast and easy. There’s a pool tho we didn’t use it.

United KingdomMore like a Motel than a Hotel. Expensive parking charge. It didn't help that there was a biblical storm in the area that day, so we didn't get the opportunity to sightsee. Reasonable price for the area, you get what you pay for so no complaints.
It was easy to get to and near the local tourist attractions. Bed was comfortable, TV was large and there was a safe in the room
