We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Rooms are aging… a bit dated… price was more than the Homewood Suites by Hilton, but only room available at last minute. Was here due to a death

Cleaning could of been better. Stained towels and sheets.
Always stay in Rocky Mount traveling back and forth from Florida and always have experienced wonderful friendly staff. This establishment from the minute I walked in my experience was uninviting. I'd be in around 8-830p due to weather and requested a 8-9 check in. We arrived shortly after 830 closer to 840. Employee stated oh I was giving your room away in 10 minutes. You're late and no card on file. Asked if I still wanted the room. The woman in the morning was wonderful.

The bathroom toilet seat was stained and needs to be replaced and the shower walls were either stained for dirty.
The hotel is right off of I95 and was 6 minutes from our destination.

As mentioned, the bathroom was a disaster. Dirt was built up in the corners to a scary degree. Tiles were pulling out of shower, toilet may not have been cleaned in awhile (ring). At breakfast no one refilled anything unless someone asked, the trash was overflowing, no one was wiping down tables in between customers. Coffee was bad.
Sheets and towels were very clean; other areas not so much (dirty rug, gross dirt buildup in corners of bathroom.)

There was no soap present in the room, the room had a dirty dog smell.

The adjoining room door was unlocked, no bars of soap in the room, and sadly the room had an animal odor. I am a big lover of dogs but the room should be deodorized after a pet stays.
The front desk lady was super friendly at check in, the bed was comfy and breakfast was more than expected.

One lamp and alarm clock did not work because there was no outlet available to plug them into.
Staff were friendly and pleasant. Room was clean. The bed had just been made and was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. There was a lot of choices. Bagels were fresh and filling. Coffee was good too.

Our room wasn’t very clean at all. There were a pile of cigarettes ashes behind the roll of toilet paper and we had to put a piece of toilet paper in the peep hole bc you could look in. Also our door looked like it had been kicked in. You could see outside. There was a huge gap in the bottom of the door. Also we went to get breakfast at 8:50, and we were locked out. Had to page the woman to unlock and she had such an attitude. Wasn’t happy we came to get a bite to eat. And breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30.

Definitely dated and not well maintained. No functioning light when entering. Had to screw light bulbs in on wall sconces. The switches didn't work. The shower worked well though the mixer handle was loose and the tub spout was not well fitted. The wall mounted hairdryer had melted cord entering the unit and we dare not use. The granite bath counter was nice but the removable sink trap was clogged with the hair and scum of prior guests. Free breakfast offered of typical basic quick fix items. I opted to take advantage of Dennys right next door for a full breakfast. They are open before the 6:30 hotel start time.
The beds were comfortable but small, the heater worked well and the shower was clean. Denny's is right beside the hotel and I could walk there for a real breakfast.

It could use a few upgrades far as appliances, tvs, mirrors, dressers, shower curtain and rug
I like the out the way location and that it was close to breakfast and a few convenience stores
