I wish all hotels would just offer breakfast until 9:30 or 10 for those who sleep in a little, who might be on vacation, get in late the night before, for those with kids who sleep in a bit, etc.

Although we were late to pick up breakfast after sleeping in a bit after a long day visiting Chicago, the nice employee at the front desk still gave us the breakfast bags which had a breakfast burrito to microwave, yogurt, water, and a banana I think. Also, the pool at this hotel was big and awesome. We didn't get to use it too much, but there is plenty of room in there. Many hotels seem to build the smallest pool they are required to build. This hotel used to be a resort of some sort, so that is why the pool is so big. Hopefully they keep it. It was nice for kids to play in and adults to swim laps in.

They could’ve done so much more with the “grab and go breakfast” it was only bananas, plain oatmeal, apples, yogurt, granola bars, muffins and some sort of microwaveable burrito.

It needs a little remodel. Carpet is bad. Bed could be a queen instead of double.

One minor thing was the sliding screen door to the deck was off its tracks and seemed like it might fall off. The "grab and go" breakfast was about what you'd expect but there was no juice available.

Room with a nice view and a deck overlooking a little lake with ducks and geese! Needed a room that could sleep 5 people; with two regular beds and a sofa bed it was perfect.

Due to Covid there was no breakfast bar and the “to go breakfast bag” wasn’t good at all. We stayed 3 nights and were told no one would be entering our room to clean until we checked out. We carried dirty towels to the desk and received clean towels each day. We asked the desk clerk for large trash bags and we collected all the trash and bagged it for them. We had a bottom floor room and there was a sitting area outside the “terrace door. However we couldn’t enjoy it due to the geese coming up honking and hissing at us and had to watch out for geese poop when we walked. The toilets were slow and ours got stopped up. I told the manager and she did find me a plunger, however I had to do the plunging myself! All this may all have been due to Covid I’m sure. However since I was maintenance and maid and had no breakfast bar I feel I should’ve recd a discount or future free night.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I loved the location. Far enough off the road for it to be quiet yet very close to restaurants and stores. The pool was nice size and clean. Air conditioning worked well!

There isn't really anything I could complain about with this hotel. At first when we pulled in the lot I thought..."oh no" I do not like how it sits way back. However, don't be deceived, the lot was clean and gave easy access to everything. The hotel proved to be very safe and welcoming.

It was clean, quiet and felt safe. We enjoyed looking at the lake behind it while eating breakfast. The beds were VERY comfortable and the staff was very friendly and seemed to work hard to make guests happy. The location was perfect, very easy access to the highway but not right next to it where you would hear the traffic. Centralized so it was not a far drive to any of the sites.

There is no elevator and the lady at the front desk said they book all online reservations on the second floor. If you're packing a lot of luggage, plan on dragging it up the stairs.

The shower was a hand held wand and the holder to make it a hands free shower was broken. The towels are small and thin. Breakfast choices were disappointing.

The property itself is fine. A lake behind the hotel is nice. Ice dispenser worked.

You should let people know there is no elevator. Had we known we would have requested a ground floor room. We both have bad knees and it would have been a little easier to get to our room.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Very quiet! For an older hotel it was a great value. The pool was large and clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous!

The beds and pillows. Really, that was my only complaint. The King bed we had was kind of like sleeping on a slab of plywood with some cardboard over the top to soften it up. Combined with very small pillows, and 5 total pillows to the room (for the king bed and pull out sofa,there were no additional pillows available), the bedding could be better.

Loved the patio on the lakeside, enjoyed the pool, and look forward to being able to enjoy the bar and deck on a future visit. Front desk was very helpful and considerate and we saw them deftly handle unruly patrons that were unhappy with Covid restrictions. We really appreciated them continuing to take it seriously.

It was a bummer there wasn't a lot for breakfast but it was still nice to have something!

This is the third time we have stayed here! We love the location to the beaches. It has a great view of a lake! We have three children and there is plenty of space for us all in the room!
