We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe air conditioner definitely needs an upgrade. It was super hot and stuffy in the room and the air was blowing but very light cool air. The shower had no cold water. It was either scolding or nothing at all. The shower head was broken as well. It was either beating down on you like a jet or a flood that you needed to stand directly under. We did not know this because we did not use the showers last year. We also were in a different size room.
This was our second time staying here. I liked how close it was to downtown where all the restaurants and shoppes are. We stayed for a basketball tournament that was in state college so wasnt a bad drive.

United States of AmericaWe had a confirmed booking.com reservation for 2 nights, and when we showed up, we were told we only had the second night, and there were no rooms available! Kailah was able to find us a room at their sister property, Lindsey Suites, which was also in Lock Haven. Unfortunately, that room was a big disappointment, primarily because it only had a tiny A/C unit in the living room and a floor fan in the bedroom to blow around the hot air. We also had to come back to the Best Western for breakfast, ice, or any other amenities.
Room and bed very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with constant attention to keeping it stocked and clean. Kailah at the front desk was terrific, and we really needed her help due to a mix-up between booking.com and the hotel.

United States of AmericaThat there was only 1 elevator. No seating for breakfast. The fact that rooms still aren't being cleaned considering we stayed 3 nights! Don't feel we should have to go to service desk for garbage bags, toilet paper and bath towels. All other safety measures are gone no sanitizer in site so you should go back to cleaning rooms.
The room was very clean loved the deep tub!

United States of AmericaI'm not sure what created my problem. I had had a confirmed reservation sent to me via email from Booking for my May 19th reservation. However, when I arrived at the hotel on the 19th, I was told they did not have my reservation. This necessitated my having to make another payment for my stay. My Discover Card statement clearly shows that Booking was paid for my 5/19/23 reservation. Even though I have made a number of attempts to be reimbursed for my loss, neither Best Western or Booking is taking responsibility for seeing that I get reimbursed. Should this continue, I will be forced into contacting the Cleveland Plain Dealer travel editor to see if they might be able to assist me in this matter.
Breakfast was quite adequate. Staff was helpful.

There were many satisfying breakfast items - not just pastries, but the eating area is very small (not a real problem because we took ours back to the room).
