Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBreakfast was standard hotel type- low quality, but good variety. TV did not have a guide you could browse through, just had to watch it scroll past on a channel. Shower heads did not have good flow.
Bed was comfortable, clean rooms. Sauna and hot tub were operational and very relaxing. Parking lot was clean and well maintained with good lighting. Restaurant/bar had good food and atmosphere.

United States of AmericaMinor points: bathrooms in the rooms are rather small and cramped. The vents blow hot air, which can get stifling. The TV either didn't work, or was too complicated to operate.
The rooms were fantastic: clean, very comfortable, and stylish. The restaurant is terrific, too. The breakfasts are generous and have so many options. The lake view is so peaceful.

United States of AmericaWhile there were electrical plugs in the base of the lamps on the bedside, there was no outlet in the base of the lamp or on the wall for the desk. My husband ended up sitting in the large easy chair next to the bed stand so he could could plug in his computer and I sat in the desk chair to watch the TV. It would be so easy to provide a lamp similar to the lamps on the bedside tables with both a electrical outlet and a USB outlet, Otherwise the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
The hotel had an attached restaurant, which overlooked Lake Moses. We ate dinner and enjoyed the most marvelous sunset view. The food was pretty good. My husband had the rib eye and it was great. I had their special, breaded Alaskan pollack, and it was okay, but not on the level of the rib-eye steak. The salad bar was not worth the price. We really did enjoy the meal and the ambiance. Breakfast in the restaurant started at 6 am and ended at 9. Since we planned a leisurely departure, we asked the desk clerk for suggestions for breakfast in town. She was very helpful and we ended up at Bob's Cafe, where we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The hotel is built on a hillside. We were in a room at the bottom of the slope. It was confusing getting to our room. We were advised to park in the lower parking lot near the end entrance, where there was an elevator. The hotel did provide several luggage carts at that entrance, which we appreciated. The elevator had three floors, but they were labeled B, 1,2. Our room key said 261, the desk clerk had circled 361. We first went up to Floor 2, and found rooms in the 300's. Our key did not fit. We went down a floor to Floor 1 and found our room, 261. You could walk the length of the hotel on the interior to reach the lobby and restaurant. We walked the length of our corridor of rooms with 200, then climbed up 6 steps to another corridor that had rooms of 100. That corridor opened into the lobby and restaurant.
