Parking lot is very small, lots of construction workers stay here and the things they are talking about would not make people in the LGBTQ community feel safe. Not the hotels fault, but was gross.

We liked the hot tub and the proximity to the parking lot.

The breakfast. The eggs were not good and we had to ask for them to refill the food.

The staff was great at check in the room we rented was not available and she immediately upgraded us with no problem.

Same as above…blatantly understaffed…but as noted, the owner is lucky to have the staff they have. Observing staff literally running and sweating to meet the demands of a full property, all while smiling and being pleasant, frustrated all of my party. It seems that Covid is still being used by some properties as an excuse to understaff and overwork the staff they do have.

They were very obviously understaffed…but the staff who were there did a great job of smiling and being as helpful as they could. The owner needs to hire more staff

A certain staff member was rude. He didn't respect my vehicle one time and acted like he didn't see it but other than that all was good.

Hot breakfast on time if not sooner. Coffee all day was a plus.

The breakfast was not very good. The coffee machine was not making the types of coffee it showed in the photos on the machine and the coffee was just not good at all. The juice machine was dispensing water instead of juice. The omelette and sausage was steamed and tasted like they had been steamed. The rest of the stay was nice, but the breakfast was not even worth trying.

It's a no frills kind of hotel but what is there is solid and doesn't have any issues.

Breakfast was decent, some mini-cheese omelets, potatoes and sausage along with cereals, some muffins, coffee, juice and a waffle maker are available. Free wifi worked well. Bed was comfy and the heater in the room worked well.

The only complaint I have was that we did not have a dish for the bar soap in the room, so we placed it on the side of the sink by the faucet. The provided shampoos could have been a little nicer, but overall it was great.

The breakfast was actually one of the more extensive ones I've seen in terms of options, I was pleasantly surprised! Among many other things, there was a touchscreen coffee machine, almond milk available, and frozen burritos breakfast with a microwave to use if desired. Our room was very clean, and the front desk staff who checked us in at 1am was quite pleasant and informative.

It was not possible to open the window so I could not get fresh air in the room without using the AC machine. The AC machine in my room was very noisy.

The staff was very nice and ready to help. The facilities were in good condition and comfortable. The breakfast is good. There is always parking available. It was nice to have a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.

The fan in the bathroom needs to be fixed. The waffle maker was or of order!

It was a bit noisy early in the morning because it was close to the freeway. The sheets could have been of a better quality.

There was a good breakfast and it was close to Santa Cruz. I liked that it was pet friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the hot tub.

Hot breakfast choices were slim. Over 4 days, we were served eggs, sausage and potatoes every day. It would have been nice to have some bacon, or ham or something besides sausage at least once. There were however varieties of toast, yogurt and cereal which helped to break up the monotony.

Location was convenient. It was very close to the freeway on/off ramps, but not too noisy from traffic. There was also fast food and convenience stores w/in walking distance that stayed open late or 24 hours.

It was cold in Scotts Valley. I turned on the heated but before the heated kicked in, I felt a super cold air. I don't know if it's just that the air outside was cold. But the heater was working. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was super clean and quiet. Great location too. Breakfast was great. I don't eat a lot for breakfast but I had apples, yogurt and tea. They had other choices for people that like bigger breakfast, like eggs, waffles, breads etc. Staff was super friendly too and the price was super reasonable.

couldn’t park near room. for example I was in room 111 and had to park in the front lot. it was pouring rain and a full lot. To get to the walkway in front of rooms I got soaked. And then there were a few steps up to the section where my room was. I had 2 very heavy pieces of luggage and this was difficult.

The fridge was on max but still was slightly cool. The shades do not cover the windows completely, you can kind of see through.

The front desk staff was super nice and the rooms were sparkling clean (thank to the housekeepers).

I was not told online that there would be a fee of $30 per pet per night! I had two little dogs and this added a big expense.

I didn't have the breakfast. I was traveling away in the morning.
