Best location. But you will have to pay 40$ for parking which is not included in price and also not mentioned at all.

However, they did not mention that parking is not included to the price and they use other parking for you to park the car and charge more than required 40$ per stay. Ridiculously high and also check in and check out time is 4pm and 11 am while most of the places are 3 pm and 12 pm.

    Location is the best.

The motel was nice and clean, but paying that kind of money after you’ve already spent a lot on the room is discouraging

We are a little pissed off because y’all need to advertise that you charge $40 to park in your parking lot this needs to be stressed to people before they book with you and also there shouldn’t be a $10 charge to eat breakfast. It should be included. ! Really disappointed

Everything was good, but things that weren't great: cleanliness, soundproofing, air conditioning was weak, and the bed wasn't super comfortable. In general, though, good value for money.

Excellent location, good breakfast ($10), great staff. Gym was pretty nice and well-equipped.

They charge $40 for parking like every other hotel in the area EXCEPT this hotel makes you park your own car. Which is not an issue. But don’t charge the same that other hotels charge when they include valet parking. The breakfast was $10 for the same breakfast every other hotel has for free. The shower yes very small. Hardly big enough for an average male. If you are bigger than average you will definitely not fit in the shower.

The location. Close to Alamodome and Riverwalk

Maybe a little more 'polish'. While the vintage feel was great, the level of restoration renovation feels like it stopped just short of preserving the notion of history while conveying that I'm in a luxury-oriented hotel.

I liked the location, the preservation and historic feel from the lobby to the original wooden windows and even the small-ish room sizes (but with comfy bed). Also enjoyed the Indian restaurant that is part of the hotel.

My daughter left a vintage jacket there that I have had for 30 years, with a humming bird pin on it. She borrowed from my closet for the trip and I was unaware. When we made it to our next destination and she realized, we called immediately. They didn't seem interested in helping and I couldn't go back so I had to say goodbye to the jacket and pin. My daughters fault and no hurt feelings.

It's so cute and historical, which we enjoyed. Everything is small, rooms, elevator but it's was nice and clean. Everyone was friendly.

The parking lot did look a little sketchy, the lobby staff wasn't always helpful when I was asking questions, the stairway only leads outside so we couldn't use it to go to and from our rooms (meaning we had to use the elevator every time, and the elevator was so small it would only hold about 4 or 5 people comfortably without luggage).

Parking was easy (easy to pay for and right next to the hotel), the rooms looked nice, had good air conditioning, decent view from the windows. There were lots of great locations within walking distance - restaurants, coffee shops, the Alamo, gift shops, donut place, places for drinks.

No place to smoke and hang out and drink beer after a long day. The swimming pool area or a sitting area on the roof would be nice. not a place for families larger than 2 but great for business trips.

The updated lobby paint was great, and the person who was there every night was very helpful. The modern updates were impressive and great. The Modern updates
