Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything offered for breakfast contained lot of sugar. Maybe it would be a good idea to add some salty staff (and add $5 or so to the room price if needed). But I guess it depends on the demand and the opinion of other guests also. A friend of mine found some cockroaches in his room.
Typical SureStay hotel, nothing special. A place to sleep over and move forward to next town (that was also the case for us). Also typical breakfast for a small hotel in America: coffee, some flakes, a waffle machine - evertyhing`s sweet and sugar-coated :) ; no scrambled eggs.

When looking at the booking info it says full breakfast while other places said contental breakfast that full breakfast is why I chose this site then the morning I went down to breakfast it was a waffle and cereal and honey buns paid more to have full breakfast and only got waffle and cereal had long day of driving and wanted to start off with good meal

The office evidently had forgot that we had rented our room and mistakenly rented our room to another person that tried to enter the room while we were in it , this event was cleared up quickly and front staff got it cleared up quickly and was apologizing to us. The breakfast is non existence my advice is go into Rockdale and get a good breakfast there.
Nice location by highway but you can't hear any cars or big trucks traveling on highway, nice clean room and bed was comfortable, easy access to hotel and room.

Our rooms were on opposite sides of the hotel, so they could have been closer

Newer towels please
Quiet location really appreciated. Comfy rooms with good microwave and fridge. Helpful welcoming team. Easy parking. Only 3 hours to Houston International Airport. Under new management who are making very positive changes. Lots of local eating places.

Bar of soap in the shower left by previous customer with strands of hair on it. Housekeeping made bed, but left wet towels in the restroom.

The breakfast selections were meager - that could be better for sure - but given the price, I can't complain too much. I had some trouble with my key card deactivating a few times during my stay but they were fast and helpful to fix the issue. The TV situation was a little hard to figure out at first and it annoyed me that it turned off automatically if you hadn't changed the channel in a few hours but that's really the only things I can pick on them about.
The staff was wonderful and made a great recommendation for dinner. I had one of the best steaks of my life at The Piano Bar in town! The property was small and quiet and while older, it was very well maintained and the rooms were updated and clean and had everything you could need inside them including a fridge and microwave). I also appreciated that it was pet friendly and the fee was only $15/night/pet. The bed was cozy and comfortable enough.

I would have preferred some fresher fruit and a protein at the breakfast (apples and oranges were a bit past their best, and boiled eggs would have been appreciated)
An easy to find hotel with lovely caring staff. The bed was great and it was quiet on our end of the property. A great nights sleep and a fun swim in the morning in the pool which is a bit worn but well kept.

The Continental breakfast wasn’t that great. Some of the staff weren’t very friendly compared to previous years since we have been staying there.
We always stay here when visiting family. It’s convenient and clean.
