We went to breakfast at 7am both days. By then the eggs and biscuits were cold. They should be placed in something to keep them warm. The TV situation was bad. We had 3 rooms in our party, and all of our TVs could get only 1 channel. I inquired at the desk, they said they had problems with the remotes, and gave me another. It did not solve the issue. You could not even change the channel on the TV itself.It was not a huge deal since we were gone all day, but it’s nice to have to wind down before bed

The rooms were very clean and well designed. The breakfast was fair to good. The waffle maker was the favorite.

The room was clean and the bed was Amazing. We only had two complaints. The remote wasn’t synced to the tv so it didn’t work and the fire detector was beeping in several rooms. The front desk person said when we got to ours if it was in there we could just take the batteries out. it was hard wired in so we had to unplug it. Not hard to do but not the safest thing.

Missouri is humid in the summer, so when hotels don't keep low air on in rooms to save money you get a very musty smell that won't go away. My room had a very potent musty smell, as did the hallways. Breakfast was horrible. For example, the sausage links were hard like jerky. Nothing else was any better.

When got to the room the TV was not working but we got it working. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked.

The bed was miserably uncomfortable and too high off the ground. I literally had to pick garbage up off the floor behind the garbage can, not to mention it hadn't been vacuumed there, the dust was thick on the carpet, and the carpet had a very large stain between the bathroom nd sink. (See the attached photo) There was a funky odor in the room, too on the vicinity of the stain. The shower didn’t have the best water pressure. Sadly, the hotel was booked, so we were stuck with it. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The biscuts were cold, and crumbly, and the sausage was undercooked. The baked goods, muffins and such, were all whole wheat and tasted like cardboard. The breakfast area is very small. There was no place to sit and you could hardly manuver to actually get near breakfast with all the people. Best Westerns used to be a superb hotel. Obviously, they have gone down hill drastically. I do not believe we will be choosing a best western in the future!

The lobby was neat and clean, and there was ample parking. The pillows and blankets were comfortable, there were ample towels in the bathroom.

When we got there we were told a week before the room was paid for ahead of time But we were told that we in fact had not. So we had already done our finances and did not have enoigh money to stay the whole time. We were disappointed because we has figured out our budget ahead of rime.

I stay at thus hotel at least 2-3 per year. I have a medical condition and cannot carry luggage up stairs (no elevator). They ALWAYS accommodate me, I ask if they need a doctors note each and every time before a stay and they say no. This particular visit, the girl who checked me in (who took forever to come to front even though I rang the bell twice), was like sorry, no rooms on 1st floor, basically a SOL atritude. Luckily I had daughter with me to help but she's young. The hair dryer was sticky, the TV remote was sticky, hairs on pillow case, GROSS! Towels are getting old and smell. No ice machine on 2nd level. Breakfast was not as good as usual. I almost called 911 at 1am, was having a severe allergic reaction to something in that room, maybe someone had cats in there? Took 3 zyrtecs before I could breathe. This place us going DOWNHILL fast. If I ever stay again, I will insist on them accepting my physician's note!
