When I checked in I was given a paper to sign regarding the $75 incidental authorization hold on my credit card. It listed items that they will charge for such as; wash cloths, towels, pillows, smoking in a non-smoking room, ice bucket, ect. then listed price for these items. There was no quantity listed. I was put off by this because, 1. I had not been in the room. 2. I have no clue how many of each item are in a room. 3. I just felt like I was being called a thief before I checked in. 4. I felt that I could be charged for items I don't even know are there or not. Bad policy. There are some things you inheritily expect in the hotel business. That's why you carry insurance. I ended up having the staff walk me to my room and took inventory of everything before signing it. Even though it was a nice stay, I will never stay there again for that reason.

Hotel has went through renovations. (I thought it had just been built considering it's freshness. Renovations look that good. )

Technical difficulties causing a long delay getting our room key. Desk person had to let us in the room. It took an hour or more to finally get a key.

The directions on booking web was wrong The frontage road was changed to a one way so we couldn't turn on it We had to stop and ask how to get to there So that needs to be fixed.

the only thing that comes to mind is when I first made my reservation, I never got a confirmation email (I did get the "we look forward to seeing you" email the day before I arrived though)

the gals at the front desk were super nice and helpful.. the room was great.. more parking available than I thought there would be.. I will definitely stay there again on future trips to Choctaw

It was under renovation while we were there so it was in disarray but very understable. You have to get dirty sometimes to improve so it was not a big deal at all.

Did not have breakfast while at the hotel, though we were informed by the staff about it. My brothers and I just wanted to sleep in since we never get to sleep in.

The sink in bathroom was very slow to drain and I had a cigarette burn on my blanket. However the room did not smell of smoke.

No nightstands by bed. Incidentals charge isn’t really needed.

Room was nice but there are no nightstands by bed and one lamp by the bed didn’t work. $75 incidentals charge was useless. No need for that. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was very cordial and friendly.
