Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSpacious! It was so nice to have room to roam. This was our first time trying a house vs a hotel. With 4 kids in tow, this space made all the difference. Great views from the house on upper levels. The kids enjoyed playing pool and darts in between trips to the beach. There was a huge selection of DVDs and board games that brought us together at the end of the night. All around a nice place to stay!

United States of AmericaThe water in the jacuzzi tub smells like rotten eggs/sulfur on the last day. The house keepers didn’t clean all the dog hair from the previous guest and there were dog biscuit remains on the floor in the living room.
Absolutely beautiful views from every room in the the house. Pool table and darts down stairs were a lot of fun too. Would definitely stay again!!

United States of AmericaThis house was so cozy and cute. It was very stormy so the fact we could see the ocean from the comfort of inside was amazing. Would definetly stay there again!

United States of AmericaThe photos are a little misleading: we expected to be able to just walk down to the beach, but the house is actually on the east side of 101 and we had to drive to Beverly Beach State Park for beach access. It’s technically walking distance but there’s no shoulder and the road is curvy so driving is definitely safer. It wasn’t a total bummer but the description should make that clearer. Also, the house is dog-friendly which is fantastic, but dogs are only allowed on the un-carpeted levels which means you need to be careful about using the baby gate that’s provided to block the stairs to the top level. Also, the yard really doesn’t have any good potty break spots if your dog is used to grassy areas. The mattresses are a little soft for my liking but I slept well.
Convenient location - about the same distance between Lincoln City (15 min) and Newport (10 min). The house was very clean. Could use a little more attention to corners and windowsills, but overall we were happy with the conditions. It’s *very* well insulated against noise; we could barely hear the ocean unless the windows were open. The management is easy to contact and responsive. The view is spectacular! Dog-friendly, with water bowls and dog sheets & towels available. The house is stocked with necessities like toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels, as well as bath towels and bed linens. It was perfect for three adults, though it might get a little crowded for the 8 people the house advertises. The rules are pretty basic and fair: take the garbage out and start the dishwasher when you leave - have a safe trip home. That was nice; we expected to have to do a lot more but that was it. Would probably stay here again.

United States of AmericaThe rug in the living room was filthy. So many stains on it. For the amount they are charging they should be able to spring for a new rug. The floor in the kitchen was not clean. I noticed a spot on the floor by the refrigerator about 5 minutes after we had checked in to the house. I took a clean damp paper towel to wipe up a spot and the towel came back filthy. The pillows on the sofa were old, worn and feathers kept coming out, and the 2 throws on the backs of the sofa/loveseat smell and are falling apart. The sheets on the bed in the primary bedroom need replacing--very dingy and worn. There was parking; however, one space had a large pile of gravel on it. I think the details said there was parking for 3 vehicles, but that's not really the case. The carpet needs replacing--very dingy and worn.
The location was incredible. Beautiful views and sunsets.

United States of AmericaWe did not like the fact that the jacuzzi tub did not work. We wanted a place with a hot tub, but we settled on this place because of the jacuzzi tub. So we were disappointed when we found out the jacuzzi tub didn’t work. Also, the downstairs game room with the pool table was very musty and moldy smelling. We had to use Lysol and open the windows just so we could try to enjoy the game room. We weren’t able to hang out in the game room very long because of the smell. When we put some bottles in the recycle bin in the garage, we noticed a couple mice in the garage so we didn’t want to park our car in there. Overall the place was good, but we feel that we paid for amenities that we weren’t able to use.
The property was good. Great location.
