Staff was friendly, but have one major issue. THEY DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH! I got locked out of my room, took nearly 15 minutes to explain to him I just needed a key to get back in it. He kept telling me "after nine o'clock you cannot check in". I kept telling him "I am checked in, I just need to get into my room!". Finally someone translated for me. Also...do not believe the 24/7 claim. We checked out at 8;55 and there was nobody in the office, had to leave cards in the night drop, am afraild I will have to have the credit card company straighten it out if the hotel never figured out I checked out. Also, very minor gripe, no coffee pot. Travelers use these places and need their caffeine in the morning!

Room was clean, comfortable. Everything worked fine (once I figured out how to switch the input on the TV to where the signal was).

Check in person was very short and kept insisting my card was declined. She put the card in the reader with the chip upside down and claimed that is how her machine worked. Rooms were clean, but front office dirty and cluttered

There was no one there to check me in when I arrived. I had to wait about 20 minutes until someone finally arrived to give me a key, and then they tried to rush me to get into the room.

The front lady had no customer service skills was yelling all the time. They told me they had no room available when I pay for my room 2 weeks before arriving. No hot water.

The beds were comfortable and the room overall was well maintained.

Absolutely appalling receptionist. Arrived to check in to find her family lounging around in the reception area. She then proceeded to be about as rude as humanly possible. When we checked out we had to ring the bell to get hold of her (it was 0830 so hardly out of hours), whereupon she appeared in her pyjamas, brushing her teeth and spat toothpaste at as as she spoke without interrupting her ablutions. Dreadful. Also - your pics of the motel show a lovely clean pool full to the brim with inviting water. the only thing in the pool yesterday was a pile of leaves.

Lobby is not welcoming. Contained owner’s storage boxes and smelled of family’s food prep. There is no longer a breakfast room or continental breakfast. Pool is still empty. Only one electrical outlet worked in my room. AC very noisy, but managed to cool the room. Sun Plaza is now a residence hotel; an important thing to know. Experienced a disturbance by next door resident that was scary.

Motel still has elements of the nice decor from previous owners. Mattress was still good and room furnishings good..

It felt very dirty, the bathroom lights didn’t work so had to use a flashlight, didn’t feel safe with the other “visitors” staying there, animals in the pool, trailer trash-couches around “fire pit”

I liked getting out of there. 20 minutes after we got there and checked our rooms out we decided to go across the street and stay at the Holiday Inn

The girl at the front desk had such an attitude I asked for my money back and she refused. She called her father in and he had to calm her down. Worst experience I have ever had at a motel.☹️

The bathroom sink had a slow drain,but that's nothing.

Great water pressure,hot water. Nice clean room with a nice night light. Ice cold fridge, great location to everything. We weren't charged for both of our service 🐕‍🦺, the gentleman was very nice and even let us check in right away!

Everything started with check-in. The door to the lobby was locked and was opened by a little girl. I was traveling with my brother who has the same last name. We made separate reservations. My brother checked in first. He handed the lady his ID and she proceeded to check him in as me and possibly charged him for my room. The lady never did check my ID or ask for any credit card info from me. I can only speak about room 9 but I'm guessing the rest of the rooms are about the same. Firstly, I had to physically shoulder my way into the room. It took all 190 lbs of me to get the door open. In the course of opening the door, the handle came off the inside of the door. Once in the room, there was only one light in the room and it was very bright. It was plugged in to a switched outlet and had a long extension cord stapled to the wall running up next to the door to the adjoining room to the ceiling and around the room above the entry door to above the window. There was no outlet near the bed, no phone, no clock and no dresser. Only two night stands, a bed, a table and two chairs as far as furniture went. The room did come with a microwave and a refrigerator. The bathroom was on par the rest of the room. The light fixture over the sink had provisions for four light bulbs but only had one installed. The hair dryer was an electrical shock hazard as the plug housing was missing the back half of it, exposing the wiring inside. There was water on the floor when I walked in leading me to believe that the bathroom wasn't cleaned from the previous guest. The shower head was less than 6 feet above the floor and off center towards the sliding glass shower doors. The shower doors were installed backwards so when you took a shower, the water sprayed out between the doors and onto the floor of the bathroom. I don't think the air conditioner worked correctly as it ran all night and barely kept the room cool.

It was close to where I needed to be the next day.

this motel had the rudest people i ever met. Started talking had to pay them in cash . Wanting more than we signed up for. Wanted a $300 deposit for dog,not refundable, $15 a night. Told me i had more than one dog in car, i said go look for yourself. Then called some other person to explain to me, he only said , cash only $ 300 for dog non refundable. I said that was not right. I felt like they were discriminating against us, they were not full , the people there were Mexican, Black American or Indian like the host were. please don’t send people there

Where should I start? Staff was rude, not friendly AT ALL. ALL electrical plugs were taken up by room stuff, so no plug to charge my phone unless I unplugged the TV. Couldn’t even use their provided microwave because it wouldn’t reach the nearby plug and the 2 mini fridges took up both plugs. Advertized a pool, but pool was emptied of water. No smoking room smelled of cigarettes anyway and left everything I took into the room smelling of cigarettes as well. No carpets, it was literally a cement cell block which left everything cold and loud with all the outside noise reverberating off the walls. We ONLY stayed 1 night although we were booked for 2 and if we hadn’t traveled several hours and exhausted we wouldn’t have even stayed the one night!!

Dingy wash clothes, towels and sheets. There were stains on everything and roach legs in my washcloths. Nobody cleaned our room and the beds were uncomfortable and pillows were extremely flat. Bathroom shower was nasty and shower head spits out water everywhere and it's painful. Plus our water was shut off for a time so we couldn't shower or wash our hands or flush. We won't be back.
