The apartment was perfectly equipped, everything was there. Nothing was missing from kitchen roll to spices to tea and sugar. Bathroom facilities were complete and very good shampoos etc. The location is very central with lots of bars, restaurants and bus and subway.

This is a beautifully appointed apartment with all the amenities that you might require, including a desk to work at. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge area, and little luxuries like granola bars, bottled water and fresh flowers. The apartment is located close to many restaurants, a grocery store and the bus stop that is on a direct route to the McPherson metro station (and line for the airport). It was thus very easy to access coming directly from the airport with baggage. The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. I can highly recommend this apartment.

Only minor inconvenience is that sometimes you can hear the steps from the upper unit, it is not too noisy although if you are have light sleep then some earplugs may be convenient.

This place is pretty practical, it has everything you may need for your stay, a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect to make a good breakfast. The neighbourhood seemed pretty safe with great places for dinner and drinks just around the corner. The unit is pretty clean, has a good bathroom with all the necessary amenities that you may need, checkin-checkout is a breeze and they will even help you keeping your luggage for a few hours if needed. Metro station is two blocks away and there are main bus lines that go down in the corner, they will go straight into the main attractions in the national mall. There is a Traders Joe's two blocks away so that's also a plus.

Could use washable rugs to feel cozier

It has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The place stays cool even if we didn’t turn the AC on. It’s on a quiet tree-lined street, but also walking distance from restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and all the tourist destinations.

I give 9/10 because I ran out of a strainer to cook and strain the rice that was available but I couldn't use it and I like it and I trained. Most of all, however, in the morning, between 8 and 10, the noises and stomping from above overhead. It bothered me a lot in the morning. There was also a problem with hot water in the bathroom but when doing laundry, so maybe it's an exception. In general, I encourage you to rent this place again. An apartment in the underground floor, prepared almost perfectly for a guest's stay. Almost perfectly equipped kitchen, lots of bottles of water upon arrival (important in the heat), fruit, spices, snacks, etc. Comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, oven, TV, office supplies in general, printer, Euro/US plug, hangers, washing machine , dryer, detergents, for cleaning. Super location in an elegant district. Caring owners in constant contact. Strong wifi. A very high level of accommodation for guests. I recommend it with all my heart!!!

Has a great patio but the area was not cleaned up. There was a hose available so the cleaning service should have hosed down the table, chairs, and patio. Could use a few area rugs and pictures on the walls to kick up the cozy factor

I did find the apartment to be very noisy coming from the people living/renting upstairs. I was up early, but please note that if you do want to sleep beyond 8-9 AM, you will be awakened by the upstairs neighbors.

Very spacious basement apartment with all amenities at your disposal. Location is good, a 6-8 minute walk to the U street metro and around the corner from bars and restaurants. Swann Street is a quiet street, so no need to worry about that. DC circulator will pick you up at the U street junction as well to bring you to McPherson Square, which is a fast and cheap way to get downtown.

This accommodation was superb. We were very nicely surprised by the welcome snacks and fruit, and some essential food items. The location was also nice in a quiet street with easy access to Washington's attractions. All cleaning/bathroom supplies were provided.
