Beds sloped at an alarming angle. We also had several house flies that buzzed us all night long. Comforter had cigarette burns. TV didn't work as there was no signal and the Roku wouldn't connect to their wifi.

Rooms were generally clean and bathrooms were in good working order. Rooms were also surprisingly quiet. This was a good stop before we hit the Sheltowee though.

Needs improvements in cleaning. Fridge should be little large size compared to current. Coffee machine should be in working condition in all rooms with additional cream,coffee pouch.

the air conditioning unit was not working and we froze. there was a small electric heater but it didn’t keep us warm. there was also a lot of weirdos that kept staring at us and our room door. also kept staring at my car and made me uncomfortable

Plug-ins were scarce. No cups, coffee, and fixings, although there was a coffee maker.

Bathroom had ashes and the plunger in the bathtub. There was trash including a cigarette pack already in the bathroom trash can of a non-smoking room. Then my husband forgot to lock the door and a stranger “wandered” into our room around 2am!

Eric and Jessica were extremely pleasant and courteous. The bedding and toiletries were clean but the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The location was awesome considering where we had to go the next morning. Only 12 minutes away.

There was a strong cat smell inside and out. The pool looked cloudy, we didn't even get in it and the landscaping around it was all neglected, it was nothing like the pictures.

It's close to big south fork scenic railway and the people are very friendly and accommodating.

I had to wait outside the lobby for someone to come help me for about 30-45 minutes even called the numbers. Our remote for the tv didn’t have both batteries in it. Not all of the lights worked. And yes we made sure they were plugged in. Once we got batteries for the tv remote the tv screen was broken. When I was checking in there was puppies in there which I had no problem with but as they were checking me in they were also cleaning up messes from the puppies at the same time. Also if you are allergic to cats be aware there is one in the lobby. I’m allergic and it kept jumping up on the counter or rubbing on my legs. Which I also had no problem with. It happens. I just had hives and stuffy sinuses for a couple hours.

The location and price and the lady in the office was very friendly.

Since being more like a "mom & pop" type of motel, as opposed to a national chain (like Days Inn or Motel 6) our room & I assume the other rooms had a "just like home" impression. In addition to the normal pillows you find on the beds, there were also larger throw pillows on the bed. We were concerned about how clean they were. They didn't look dirty, but I didn't know if they were washed between uses. In the bathroom, there was a little fabric rug to step out on beside the tub, instead of the normal white ones that are typically in rooms. There was actual glass (stone?) coffee cups beside the coffee maker. There was also "knick knacks" around the room for decoration. I thought that those probably weren't sanitized between uses. The tv didn't get good reception as the thing connecting the cable to the tv was pretty loose. The carpet, while I assumed to be vaccumed, did have a lot of stains on it.

The staff was really friendly & concerned about our comfort. I tripped over one of the parking lot things that keep you from pulling up 2 far onto the sidewalk. There was a gentleman who was sitting outside of his room & he jumped up to help me, in addition to the lady who checked us in. I told them it was no big deal, that I have a tendency to fall or trip over things. My husband was getting ready to help me up (holding my hands & pulling me forward, we've done this way too often) and the check-in lady brought me over a chair & said that I could pull myself up using that, and that's how she did it (she must have read my mind, we've done this too often & that's exactly how I get up). I used the chair and got straight up. We thanked her, and the other gentleman for being so helpful & assured them that I was fine.

Towels and washclothes were stained. The washcloth literally had a blob of goo with a bunch of hair stuck in it.Called the front desk and they replaced the linen with hopefully clean linens. But then I had to call again because there was no hot water. I've stayed here several times because it was cheap and in a good location but the place has been going downhill. I won't be staying here again.It has gotten NASTY!
