Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of America1. room #1 was unusable. they issued me a room that had been previously demolished and totally unusable. 2. room #2 was provided by a different office guy that was suggesting that any problem with Room #1 was my issue. and when I opened the door to Room #2 there were already people living in it, and a bit surprised at my entry !! 3. room #3 seemed to be in normal condition but had NO towels at all. I called the front desk and asked for some. they never provided any towels. (I was out for NYE and didnt realize this till it was almost check out time the next day) this property might need to be condemned. room #1 - when i opened the door I gasped. the beds were in the middle of the room and were raw box-springs & mattress, no sheets or pillows in sight. the hard furniture was pulled away from the wall, debris was all over the floor, curtains hanging off the rod and generally had an appearance of being under construction. The serly young man in the office first comments was "we dont give refunds". Some strange woman loitering in the lobby then started asking me questions about the room and the clerk started to mock write down "my complaint" as he called it and asked me to start listing the items that were damaged. I attempted to explain that I didnt go in the room. He repeated himself and started offering the names of standard furnishings. I suggested that if he wanted that information he should walk down there and see for himself. his curt reply was that it didnt matter to him as his post was the front desk. I told him he had 2 choices; provide me a room or I'd call the police. in the meantime I started searching the web for the Motel 6 Corporate phone number. when he issued me a new key card I quietly left the office went to my room, opened the door and was confronted by a couple that were already moved it and appeared settled. I returned to the office and told the guy to call the Manager. Then provided the card to room #3.
I must say, I think Tom Bodett would be horrified at this Motel. and if he tried to leave the light on for me it would be missing its lamp shade and the electrical cord would be raw wire and missing its sheath. BUT - I digress - the scene opens up with a woman wandering in circles in the small Office lobby. She's giggling between loud F-bombs. She's smiling while complaining and she asking me for money, a ride, help with an Uber an a phone charging cord. I gave poker-face and then refocuses at the young man behind the counter. He set me aside so he can assist the 'mentally ill' woman (or on drugs) and provides her a charging cord from the Lost & Found drawer.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was missing its door. A woman paced outside my room challenging someone to fight her. I had to kill a number of flies. The bathroom didn't have any shampoo. The outlet next to the beds didn't work which I needed for my cpap machine. There was a dead wasp on the floor and mold on the ceiling. People were doing g drugs in the other rooms as I walked by.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaWe have always been fans of Motel 6. We have rarely been disappointed. We didn't really mind that the neighborhood was sketchy. But the room had a nasty smell that I thought was enthusiastic use of bug spray. Turned out it was the air conditioner. There were no towels whatsoever, no soap. Fortunately I had my own so I didn't bother to call down for any. My son checked us in and said the front desk clerk was pretty disinterested in providing service, telling him the TV in one room didn't work but not offering to change rooms for us. And the bed is in dire need of being replaced, the pillows were basically lumps.
Not a lot

CanadaBeetles, flies, listening to the hooker traffic, do you rent rooms by the hour or do they rent for the night and parade John's through . I could literally count the springs in the mattress the top was so thin, I had to ask for a towel. all I expected was a bed, a shower, no bugs. Failed on all accounts

United States of AmericaIt wasn't exactly safe feeling it actually looked like people just lived there. It was prior to 4th of July so the kids stayed right outside our window lighting off fireworks which woke me up. No point in complaining about it. Didn't want to piss any neighborhood residents off. Hahahaha we just stayed, slept, and left. Not somewhere I'd stay again.

United States of AmericaI paid extra for an upgrade, but this room had a hole in the curtain (bed level) and a spot in the door of the bathroom where someone had punched it. The area had a lot of questionable people around, with a full list if precautions to safeguard yourself. The bed felt unstable, and there was one towel and barely any toilet paper, no soap- almost like they have issues perhaps with people stealing stuff? All of the bathroom fixtures had watermarks and staining. The staff was nice but we felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and like we had overpaid.
It was easy to find the location. The staff was nice on check in. The ac worked great.

United States of AmericaThe grounds outside were dirty with trash littered all over the place. Everything looked gross. Inside was just as bad. Stains and drips and something soggy and stinky behind the toilet. I don’t mind no amenities, but no excuse for lack of cleanliness.
Good water pressure, sheets seemed clean, lowest price in town, pet friendly.

United States of AmericaIt was dirty, broken doors, broken locks, absolutely zero service of our room, huge price increase on Friday, I was very unhappy overall. It used to be a decent place to stay... But not anymore. Lights around the property were burned out just bad from the gate.... Oh and their phone systems were broken when we were trying to check in... Broken towel rod. The list just keeps going......
The only benefit was the fact that I could smoke in the room.....

United States of AmericaMotel 6 was like a nightmare!! We were given 2 very lumpy pillows. We asked for two more... to no avail. It was vary lumpy that when you're asleep and turn to sleep sideways ... you can feel the lump pushing against your neck. They have 'permanent residents'. Their doors, can't close properly. You need to slam the front door to cl9sevit. In the middle of the night, some children were quarreling with each other and people knocking loudly in their room. You can't get any sleep. The bathroom door cannot be closed. The room smells like pickles and very old.
There isn't any breakfast. Motel 6 don't provide breakfast. Priceline dot com gave wring info ... Priceline is a bad service provider!! There us nothing to like about Motel 6!!
