Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Need new bath towels, parking was not convenient with limited spaces.
Beds were comfy and the water slides were a blast for our grandkids.

The comforters and brown pieces on the beds were not clean, so glad I brought my own bedding. Mirrors had gross toothpaste plater on them. End tables/dirty finger prints. So I wiped all down in room and bathroom before setting my stuff anywhere
Feels safe. Lounge/restaurant nice to have all in one

Was supposed to have a courtyard view room, got an outer parking lot view. Refrigerator did not keep our food and drinks cool at all. Had a difficult time getting in and out of the facility with the construction blocking the entryway. None of the lamps were plugged in. We had to move the bed to plug lamps in. The charging ports were falling out of the lamp bases.
Pool was great. Staff were nice

When I checked in I was told that Booking.com had cancelled my reservation and then had to rebook after Booking had already charged my card for the booking.
Follow up with Elise (registration supervisor) was extremely professional and courteous. She was very efficient in handling my issue with billing.

The hallways felt narrow. There were a lot of people checked in at the time of our stay.
The breakfast was great... the waterslides were fun. The location was extremely convenient.

My room got double booked that first night and a family walked in to our room while we were sleeping.
We enjoyed the the pool, casino, and watching march madness on the tv in the room.

The room and hallways were a little dingy and could use some maintenance and cleaning. The facility appeared to have really good security, except most of it was not in working order. Things like locked exterior doors with a key pad were open.
The food was really good. The bar had live music that was wonderful and the drinks were reasonably priced. The in-house coffee shop should be standard in all hotels. The staff was very helpful and the kids loved the slides. The room had more lighting than most and it was quite.

We were woken up around 2:30 AM when neighboring travelers came home from the bars and blasted music for around an hour. I know not the hotels fault, but it was not great. The hotel also holds out $100-$200 per night for incidentals which seems very high to me, (especially based on the room rate) the hotel is nice but it’s older. I think if your traveling with a family, staying at Holiday Inn or something like that would be much more comfortable.
The pool and water slide was fun, and the staff was very friendly!

Rooms were a little outdated but definitely worth the value.
Kids loved the waterslide, staff was incredibly friendly. We were greeted at the front desk where I had a few travel questions and the man behind the desk grabbed another person and they both helped and gave their opinions. My kids were struggling to carry all of our bags in and another employee quickly said hold on and grabbed a luggage cart-loaded all our luggage up, and unloaded it in our room for us! We went to the pool and immediately when we arrived an employee handed us multiple towels and set one on the chair I was about to sit on because it was a little wet. They were all so helpful! The courtyard was beautiful

Being charged $100 up front for potential costs...made me feel like I needed to physically check out. Unfortunately, their was only 1 person at the desk and hecwas busy with a reservation. I felt he could have, in the least, had the person on the phone hold for a sec to at least acknowledge my presence and/or see if I may have a quick question. As it was taking so long, I left. I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't so I don't feel it was a great bargain.
