The property itself is so unique and comfortable. We enjoyed all of the details put into everything. It was so relaxing. Todd and Shelly did a great job at offering recommendations for our adventures. The breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing. We both eat gluten free and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a delicious breakfast. The location of the property is easily accessible to many of the area’s attractions. Would 10/10 come back in a heart beat.

The owners were great! We had an early morning tour scheduled and they go up early to make breakfast for us! The breakfast was delicious! The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. The soaking tub was excellent after a day of touring. Overall a great experience.

Jody and Ryan are lovely hosts. They bent over backwards to make sure our stay was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious and the variety was welcomed! There were maps available so we could plan our days and with the hosts' suggestions, we had a terrific stay.

Top choice, five star stay in the Black Hills. Every amenity you want and many that you didn’t think you needed are all provided. Hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Loved the 24-hour self serve coffee and tea bar. Guest fridge downstairs for your drinks & snacks. Huge living room downstairs with pool table, games, books, and DVD library. Bed was heavenly. Home cooked breakfasts were different every day, hearty, and delicious. Very quiet and peaceful. Good central location for day trips anywhere in the Black Hills. Highly Recommended!

The Black Forest Inn is a beautiful, clean, comfortable B&B. Ryan and Jodi are lovely hosts, and very accommodating. We stayed in the Country Cottage room, which was quiet and comfortable. We weren't there long enough to spend time in the game room, but the dining area/common sitting area was very nice, and the coffee/tea bar is a great touch. We stayed two nights at the Black Forest Inn during our trip to the Black Hills, and wished we had stayed longer. Yes, it's a little ways out of the city, but this is a good location reasonably close to many of the famous parks and landmarks.

Black Hills Bed & Breakfast's owners are SO sweet and down to earth, their hospitality was wonderful. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE both mornings we were there, and Jodie even brought out some fruit cups for our kids, separate from breakfast, which I thought to be very sweet. The property is beautiful and inviting, the decor makes it feel very homey, the room was clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. I can't say enough great things about this place other than it is a MUST stay if you're visiting Hill City/Rapid City/Keystone!

Hard to think of anything that wasn’t spot-on!

The pictures (which were an excellent lure) did not entirely portray the true superiority of the property! Great design and extreme comfort rules along with thoughtful cleanliness! It has to be mentioned about how generously hospitable the hosts were at taking care of their guests. So genuine! The breakfasts were worthy of an extra star on the rating system!
