Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom has sewer flies. The shower water pressure wasn’t very good. To close the bathroom door you have to wedge yourself between the tub and toilet. The tv remote only worked part of the time
No breakfast was being served. The bed was pretty comfortable

I was awaken at 2am in the morning 🌄 😩. I found out that I could of called the office and they would take care of it.
The price was a good one except I was in the bad section of Kennewick.

I didn't like that the WiFi wasn't very good, I understand that most of the guests use it but the range and reception wasn't very good. But some staff members were kind of rude and were either always on their cell phones or they would help someone else that was there after I had been waiting for assistance.

Was alittle bit worried when they said that homeless people hang around there at night and if anyone knocks on your door just call us That kinda scared me since I was traveling alone

Bookings posted: Breakfast included. They need to remove it on the website because the hotel does not offer breakfast. People were hanging around outside, not hotel guests. Made me feel unsafe

It wasn't the right places to stay. And I'm not staying there anymore.
I was awaken at 2pm. Someone was having a party. It woke me up. I found out later that I could have had the office check it out.

The free wifi is extremely unreliable. Toilet flap needs inspection, the tank fills every few minutes.
The room was in mostly good condition. Very clean.

The only major issue I had was their website and booking.vom said that breakfast was going to be available and it wasn't until after check in that we found out that they were no longer serving breakfast, we were looking forward to that

I did not like all of the homeless folks hanging around - particularly the ones who were clearly using drugs. I did not feel very comfortable since I was traveling alone.

this is the second time that I've used booking.com, and no more. Both times I requested a king accessible room and didn't get it. The first time, I at least got a downstairs room, double queen. this time, I got a room that was king, but on the second floor. I do not do well on stairs at all. smokers like to congregate on the stairs-stairwells, talking loudly.
room was clean. they didn't have any issues with my ESAs.

The person above me was up and awake and moving and making noise all night. It was NOT a pleasant experience.
No breakfast was available even though it was advertised. This should be current. Room was comfortable

It was advertised about free breakfast . But when I checked into the hotel , they told me due to covid there was no free breakfast . The breakfast was a good reason to reserve a room at that hotel . There was no small wash cloths to shower with . The toilet paper didn't look like it had gotten changed out . The walls were pretty thin , in the room next to me , unsure which . I smelt weed being smoked . Unsure why but the live TV kept going off for the time it was being used .
The heater was already on when first walking into the room , the lodge is really close to places to eat along with Walgreens . So location was nice . The microwave in the room was nice as well was able to get some microwavable food at night when everything else was closed .

Two of the lamps didn't work in the room. The front desk brought me bulbs and I did get one working. The room smelled like cigarettes. They don't actually offer breakfast. That's one of the main things that I look for when booking hotels.
