I would stay here again, but I would ask for a bottom level room.

The room was clean and spacious. The location was perfect. By 9 PM all was quiet which I like. The breakfast was great, but please brew a different brand of coffee!!

The hotel isn't brand new, but all the important things are there, like double pane windows, and it's super clean.

I loved that we could watch Netflix on the TV and the Keurig coffee maker. The bed and bedding was amazingly comfortable. I liked the blackout curtains too.

Plumbing made a weird noise, was on the bottom floor and I think every time the person above me flushed or took a shower it sounded like my shower was going to back up.

Granted, we came off season. The public areas around the pool look like they could use a little work. Nothing major, but I spent some time on the patio by the pool while my family took a long nap. The patio chairs were in good shape but I did have to reposition around a few dips in the stones. As a plus there is a small basketball area and there was another family with young kids that enjoyed burning off some energy after a long car ride. Another family BBQd and had a great afternoon as well.

Easy access to the town, restaurants and the promised view of the mountains was nice. The beds were very comfortable, the heater was quiet, the shower water hot, and a good sized fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room were very convenient.

The only bummer issue I had the whole stay was there was not enough hot water to fill up the spa tub in our room in the evening. That's why we took showers instead and noticed the cool lit up showerhead..

Fast check-in a half hour early. The room was very clean and nicely arranged. Loved seeing the elk from our room when we arrived and also first thing in the morning. It was a great stay. Loved the see thru gas fireplace. Nice touch. The LED lights in the showerhead was a cool touch. I also appreciate the cleaning lady helping me carry my cooler down the stairs when we were leaving. Very much appreciated and I also left a tip for her in the envelope.

Place is everything you expect and then some. Amazing view from room window. Nice beds, very clean. Big breakfeast getting you ready for a day in the mountains. Parking right outside your door.

The shower got cold quick the first evening we were there. And the room we ended up with wasn't a good view of mountains, but that wasn't terrible...a tree was right outside our window.

It is an older facility that has been nicely renovated. The room was smallish but quite adequate and well appointed. Enjoyed the view from the lovely breakfast room. Liked that is is located slightly out of town with a "country" feel.

The bed was really stiff and hard. Not the best night sleep, but we did manage.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great movie selection if you wanna watch movies while staying there, did not have any breakfast, room was very nice, the jacuzzi tub was great. The views were beautiful, will definitely stay again.

The hot tub was closed down a week before we arrived, the front desk stated that the health department came in and shut it down. This was a bit disappointing, I understand it was out of their control but we really were looking forward to spending time in the tub. Not a deal breaker to stay there, just kind of sucked at the time.

This is our 3rd time staying at the Blue Door Inn, we have always had a wonderful experience and will enjoy coming back for years to come! I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Estes Park.

The only minus was the exterior. Some spots were worn out and needed repairs. However, this was NOT the case for the rooms!

The facilities and the friendly staff of this lodge exceeded our expectations. It was certainly worth our money.
