The property was exactly as described! It was clean and more spacious than I expected. The hosts were great in welcoming me and checking in periodically to see if I needed anything. They responded quickly to my messages! The pool and deck / patio were great! Quiet and safe neighborhood. I walked 4-5 miles every day and felt safe.

Unfortunately the pool heating did not work. Positive: we received the reimbursement already during our stay. That's the only reason for 9/10 rating

Very clean and well equipped. Our kids loved the pool. Great communication and reactivity during our stay. Quiet neighborhood. Although there's lots of damages in the region after Hurricane Ian, this property was in really perfect condition. We really enjoyed and will come back

We had two fantastic days in Cape Coral and didn’t want to leave this paradise. Super clean, well-equipped and nice neighbourhood! The pool was fantastic and one felt right at home. We would come back any time :)

We (family of 5) stayed 3 nights at this beautiful modern styled house. House was spotless clean. Pool area was great and also clean. Three bedrooms en two bathrooms fully equipped. Kitchen fully equipped, washer and dryer for your laundry. TV in every bedroom. TV in living room area provided with enough channels to watch and you can log in with your own Netflix/Disney/Amazon/etc. account and just watch whatever you used to. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Various restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We had an excellent stay and just preferred to stay ‘home’ because it felt comfortable without the need to go out every night. After two weeks of traveling around FL we came to rest and were able to cook our own meals and breakfast again. The hosts are quick in replying to any questions and are very accommodating. We’ll definitely try and stay at the Blue Door Retreat next time we are in the area again!

We love to travel with our family and I must say, this is the best house we have ever stayed in! Clean, comfortable home with friendly hosts and an amazing pool area. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook a nice meal. The laundry room was an added bonus. We had so much fun, my kids didn’t want to leave!

Part of my stay was spent removing multiple live and dead roaches for 3 screaming, hysterical, teen girls. The first time this happened was in the shared bathroom, I immediately noticed a large number of dark spots in the toilet and upon inspection found them to be roach droppings. I have to say that I was thoroughly disgusted and embarrassed for not only myself but for my daughter because her friends were having to deal with this issue. This was supposed to be a nice get away for our birthday. I'm a Florida native and have lived here all my life, I understand the issues that we can have with bugs and weather but I don't expect to pay good money for a rental and have to deal with pest issues and security concerns. Besides the roaches, we felt the fence being in disrepair was a security issue and made us feel less safe.
