The door electronic code not needed as door opened whole time no code and ppl propped open exit door with traffic cone. No maintenance personnel wore uniforms and no name tags. Got knock on door to do pest control but did not let them in. Didn’t feel safe with no uniform or ID badge.

The value was good. Clean room. The check in was easy.

The washroom was the most rundown part. The roof above the tub clearly had water damage and was leaking from the unit above. There were lots fruit flies in the room when we first arrived. May have been due to the previous guests. We bought and put some traps out and by the end of the stay it was not an issue. Access code for the room seemed generic and easy to guess for anyone who has been there before.

I liked that this hotel was right on the beachfront with easy access to the beach. I liked the coded entry, proximity to the main strip/sky wheel area of Myrtle beach. I liked that the room was mostly modern and had good appliances in the kitchenette.

Wasn't as clean as it should be. We had to clean it ourself. The comforter was nasty with yellow stuff on it. There was black hair in the shower and on the sheets. Lucky we had brought our own sheets. It was not completely handicap. No handle to the pool. Seen bugs on the first floor. The gap in the door anyone could here you talking. The chairs on the balcony was broke. The table at the pool was broke, wasn't able to use it. This is so unacceptable, I was very disappointed.

The only thing good about the room was only after we cleaned it.

The room was not clean at all I had to go buy cleaning supplies to be able to clean and even had to wash every dish we went to use since they were not clean either. Wish there would have been a broom and dustpan in the room to sweep up the sand but thankfully the front desk let me borrow one so I could sweep a little bit. Wish there was a fan in the batbroom since it was such small area that would have been a nice buffer if someone was using the facilities. The bed has potential to be comfortable but unfortunately the way it's set on the bed frame there is no support at the head or foot of mattress. There were blinds missing and broken the chairs on balcony were broken as well. So overall for the amount of $80 a day for cleaning I was charged was excessive for the way the room was not cleaned properly.

Location was amazing!! The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was just the right size for myself and my husband.

You can see the wear and tear of an older building but overall they were perfect for the beach.

The Blue Palmetto is a perfect beach getaway spot! The building is older but is being renovated and many upgrades have already been made. Linens and all surfaces were clean with comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. By far the best part of the stay was the service and hospitality! I arrived to find a complimentary bottle of wine on the kitchen counter and cold bottled water in the fridge. This will definitely be a returning location for me when I visit Myrtle Beach in the future!

at first, once we arrived, we had issues getting to our room beacuse we didnt recieve the information on time!! onve we were able to enter, the hotel has an odd smell that was very unpleasing. our room wasnt as clean as expected so i had to buy a bottle of clorox to wipe it down and disinfect the room.

They did not change the sheet. The microwave did not work and it had bed bugs. They need to buy new beds some remodeling the ceiling had patches. The pools did not had any water that was very disappointed I was looking forward to get in it

Room was not very clean. Needs major updating. Not enough towels given at beginning of stay (had to find someone and get towels almost every couple of days). Pet friendly, which is great, but a few of the dogs barked a little too much! Outside showers were shut off due to needing repaired and unable to wash off sand before going back in.

Location is great! Right on beach, within walking distance to Pier, entertainment and restaurants. Residents and guest were very friendly.

well for one we came in cleaning the room ourselves it was kinda old but they were trying to fix it up. we had to wash our own towels and wash rags. the covers was dirty. but we just paid for the view.

I like the ocean view and it was right on the beach loved that. And everyone was very friendly.

Giant ROACHES , regular roaches, infested by 2 different speces. Giant roaches wouldn't even let us out of the elevator (seriously). The secured coded door locs weren't We even operable, people that weren't even staying there came and went as they chose,wth?had a WATET LEAK and MOLD during the whole 6 days, no room service AT ALL NOT EVEN TOWELS,NO MAINTENANCE, OFFICE ALWAYS CLOSED. The wall is soo soft and wet you can push your finger through it, I openene access panel and took pictures of ALL THE MOLD INSIDE THE WALL / FLOOR CAVITY. WE ALSO HAD TO EXTERMINATE OUR HOUSE AND BELONGINGS COSTING US MORE THAN THE TRUP ITSELF. THEREFORE THOS IS OUR REQUEST FOR A FULL AND I MEAN FULL REFUND. Our lawyer told us to ask for a refund before paying him to file a lawsuit for compensation, thank you and have a blessed day.
