Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere isn't anything that the inn could improve on. It seems so well-run, and the facility is lovely. There are a couple of things I would've wanted to read as a guest ahead of time. First, the inn is behind the fire station in West Sedona and that was a little off-putting at first. Not a bad spot; just not what we expected. The other is personal preference...we are a couple in our 60's/70's and the shower in the Sacred Feather room is completely open and part of the bedroom...so that was a little awkward for us! ;)
The inn is fantastic. Our room was charming, and the breakfast was amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had the Sacred Feather room with a view of the mountains and a huge deck with hot tub.

United States of AmericaMy only complaint would be the lack of lighting for the bathroom vanity, makes it difficult to see when getting ready.
This spot really caters to hosting their guests. We got a personal overview of how our stay works and we're escorted to our room, which was very welcoming. They really want you to make yourself at home. The breakfast was amazing and so was the hot tub that came with the room. Over 30 years in Arizona and I find this gem of a place right before moving out of state; wish I found it sooner because I would have stayed here for every visit from Phoenix. This is a must stay spot, great for those that want a beautiful room without staying in a crowed resort.

United States of AmericaWe had a problem with the hot tub the second night. The breaker got tripped. They came right away to fix, but the hot tub wouldn’t get past 97 degrees. Also more towels would have helped or a towel warmer.
The room was amazing. The view, the breakfast every morning.

United States of AmericaSelf-check-in -- I like to meet the people operating the facility to learn about the area etc. One of our rooms (the Sante Fe) was cold at nigh.
The rooms at the Inn were very nice and well-supplied. We enjoyed the little bistro table in the room along with the nice surprise of a fresh loaf of bread upon arrival. The Inn is also close to several trail-heads near Thunder Mountain that we took advantage of.

United States of AmericaVery good communication before we even got to the facility. Once we arrived and entered our room we were greeted with fresh baked bread. The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The mini fridge was stocked with water, a variety of sodas, creamer and butter and jelly for the fresh baked bread. There were assorted snacks on the top of the refrigerator s as well. We were in the Santa Fe room which had a large jetted tub, fireplace and comfortable queen bed. There was a table and two chairs where we were served breakfast every morning. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious! It was a beautiful and relaxing place to come back to every afternoon after our hikes and adventures!

United States of AmericaEverything was amazing and so many details to make it welcoming. The property is very serene and relaxing. The room was extremely cute. The private hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring. The fresh baked bread is such a nice bonus. Also, breakfast can be taken in the main lodge or in your room so you can be as social or secluded as you want.

United States of AmericaCould not turn off lights around mirror, requiring us to unscrew the light bulbs. No housekeeping or more freshly baked bread upon request. Shower temperature would not regulate on the wall faucet. Either burning hot or way too cold. One tiny bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Our TV was briefly hijacked by another guest.
The location, the introduction upon arrival, the freshly baked bread waiting for us, the chef and his delicious breakfasts, the comfy bed, the fun themed rooms, walk-in shower, the hot tub, and complimentary cookies and drinks were wonderful.
