To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe registration desk was next to the terrible-smelling casino. We don't smoke and find it offensive to have to subject ourselves to secondhand smoke! It would also be nice if you supplied a coffeemaker in the room.
The room was very nice, and we appreciated the in-room refrigerator. The security guard was also very friendly.

United States of AmericaThere was no microwave or coffee maker in the hotel. Since we had no way of reheating our food we avoided the hotel restaurants where larger meals would be served, so we did not waste food as leftovers could not be reheated.
The location was perfect, we werenlokking for something far enough away from the strip but close enough for us to see a few shows.

United States of AmericaUnless you put the do not disturb sign out, housekeeping will knock on your door pretty early every day, which was unusual. But I just learnt to put the sign out :) There was a power outage at the end but it was nice that they refunded the last day's service fee.
Place is clean and housekeeping will always ask you if you need service. Internet worked. I loved the GYM and the other amenities, including the restaurants. Staff was pretty helpful.
