Only what one can't control, the rain. Would have lived to use tge fire pit and sit outside. Maybe next time!

Close to town but out of all the crowds. Such a beautiful place.

Loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle of town, but that I could walk to the river and springs so easily. Staff was SO friendly and share a piece of their home. Excellent breakfast, good service, doggo friendly, and just a relaxing slice of mountainside to decompress!

It's understandable considering the age of the cabins, but the lack of air conditioning did make it somewhat unpleasant to be there during the day, and the parking was somewhat tedious as well.

The breakfast that was provided was one of the best I have had in a long time! Staff was incredibly kind and the dog on site was cute. The atmosphere of the property is quite peaceful and enjoyable.

I didn’t research enough beforehand. So I was surprised to learn these are old original cabins from 100+ years ago. For example, doors and windows don’t close well because of warped wood.

Staff and breakfast were the stand out! Made up for any disliked details.

I walk with a cane and the cottages were built on a hill so it was more difficult. The restrooms were a shared commodity. During the night I had to walk down the hill to use the facilities hoping I would make it on time.

The staff go out of their way to welcome you and help you feel welcome. The breakfast was made fresh when we came down for our meal and the hostess made you feel like you were best friends. The facilities were decorated with antique pictures, furniture and knickknacks. The green foliage, flowers and trees created a pleasant, quiet oases.

    - The cabins are really really tiny. Like, luggage stays in the car tiny. You can't really expect more for the price and the uniqueness, so just be prepared. - The road from the car to the cabin can get muddy. - Lots of insects around the cabin, from months attracted to light (be sure to turn off outside light) to what looked like thread-waisted wasps. - Shared bathroom was a bit gross.

    - These cabins ARE historic, making it a unique experience. - Authentic decor with a lot of cool tchotchkes inside. A lot of creatively used stuff outside too. - Close to everything, yet removed enough for you to feel like you are completely in nature. - They make you breakfast and it's good and healthy. - Can't beat the price.

Restocking of bathroom essentials in the ladies room could be improved. Another separate shower room or bathroom would be helpful had to wait at times ⏲️

Nice home cooked breakfast, nice walk into town for the hot springs and shopping and restaurants.

Detached bathrooms and showers were challenging and I must have missed that information in the property information page.

The breakfast was top notch. Walking distance to the lava hot springs. Creek access was great, Lucy escorted us down the stairs.
