Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The walls are thin and it's near the highway. You would need some earplugs otherwise it's impossible to fall asleep at night.
The place is clean and the location is safe and convenient for us to get around. Walking distance to some good restaurants and Walgreens. The host was very responsive.

All was ok, maybe at the beginning we had issues to understand the way to open guest and flat doors. And it has only one bathroom, but we could manage our times.
Accommodation was close to the downtown, so we could move easily from here. Moreover, it was clean, and comfortable for a family until 5 people.

- It was a very noisy only in our first night, like if someone was dragging furniture around upstairs for around 3 hours. - The bathroom had an infestation of drain flies, and we could see that the shower drain was really dirty, so cleanliness could be a bit better/deeper. Fortunately, there was some insect killer spray that eased the problem. - WiFi signal wasn’t good enough in the whole unit. We completely lost signal for one night, but in the other days we could use it normally on the living room.
- Great value for money in Miami. - Location is amazing: short walking distance to Publix supermarket, Walgreens Pharmacy, Metromover, and Brickell nightlife. Less than 20 minutes from MIA airport by car. - Spacious and well equipped. Smart TV, dishwasher, kitchenware, big fridge. We had almost everything we needed. - Designated free parking lot was perfect. - The staff answers us really fast via Whatsapp, and they take care of customer experience.

First we could not use the central thermostat and it was very very cold. Later we got help to adjust the temperature.
Quiet location, close to bus stop and to restaurant and coffee.

I liked everytrhing about te property and my stay.
The locatin is awesome. It is right next to the Walgreens, gas station and groccery store. Parking is very convinient as well. Rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortablle. Suites were very comfortable and clean.

However, the inability to open windows made nights uncomfortably hot, exacerbated by loud central ventilation. Street noise starting at 6 am might disturb late risers, impacting sleep quality. While the apartment is adequately equipped, the budget furniture, beds, and bedclothes may not meet everyone's expectations. Overall, it was a good experience if you adjust your expectations.
I really like a fantastic location, close to center of the city, walking distance from supermarkets and good restaurants.

Nothing to complain about.
Very comfortable and spacious apartments located within a walking distance from downtown Miami. Equipped with pretty much everything you may need. Although it's self check-in and out, the staff stays in touch all the time and responds very quickly. I can surely recommend :)

Just the price is elevated.
Everything was clean, they had all the basic stuff like cups, plates, cleaning products, extra towels. Great location. The staff over the phone were very attentive and nice. I stayed for one night only but I will definitely will come back.

The code system for dors, there is no dirrect support on the building. We have limited internet connection, need to conect with host, but we manage it, no big issue.
Very, very nice place to stay. Perfect for friends trip. Close to downtown. Perfect WiFi. Nice kithen equipment, very clean.

Unfortunately, the two-bed rooms don't offer a washing machine.

The place wasn't clean when we arrived but they immediately cleaned it. Beds were not that comfortable but did the job.
They allowed a early check in which was super helpful. Very roomy and nice. Laundry room was useful. Location was very convenient. Great Kitchen space
