To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThey turn off the elevator everyday, I recently had knee surgery to it was really painful on my knees to take the stairs to and from the 4th floor. The rooms were very close to the stairway so the door would slam every time someone came up or went down the stairs.

United States of AmericaThe shower was a joke; pretty/fancy but not user-friendly. No 24-hour desk. No food facilities other than a vending machine. There was a device in the room which may or may not have been able to make coffee, and there were two unmarked pods and several tea bags. The towels were too few and too thin.
