Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The heating was different to any that I’d seen before and there weren’t any instructions for it or the WiFi code.
Check in was very quick, room was spacious and clean.

The shower valve was very difficult to use and control. It definitely needs to be repaired. There was no coffee maker and coffee was not offered by the hosts. There was no thermostat for the heater. It was either on or off.
Very nice stay. The hotel is older and anything but fancy, but almost everything worked fine. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The hosts were very nice and friendly. Also, I was able to park directly in front of my room.

some tiles in the shower were loose. There was a lot of wind outside one of the 2 nights, and during the wind, something kept banging right outside our room

The room was a bit cold and the shower was difficult to manage a consistent temperature.
The family that owns this motel was very nice. The location and the price were amazing. I love that we could back our car up right to the room for unloading. For the price this is a no-frills motel but safe and clean.

The age of the place was showing in the seams of the floors and walls. Just won't go back - Plus the property charged me for a third night when I wanted just two; a billing error that resulted when I added a second night to my original one-night stay reservation.. It took a month to straighten out and I had to go through my CC company to do it.
The room seemed really spartan and cold. The bathroom amenities were only just what one would need and no more. Little table and chair were uncomfortable.

Overall my stay was pleasant, but the motel is in need of a little TLC. Shower takes a while to heat up.
Location is nice. Staff is really friendly. Great price.

Our room could use a little update but not bad.
The owners are very nice and accommodating, very easy to talk and converse with. The outside of the property is very well maintained and nice; able to sit outside and have a cocktail.

This family run motel was very accommodating. We were having trouble finding a place to stay with our birds and this motel was able to accommodate us. We enjoyed the family-run feel. Also, when we had an issue with our shower late at night they immediately came to repair it. The AC kept us cool during a hot summer stay. Met our expectations as a budget motel and would stay again.

Needs weatherstripping around door frame to outside. Floor in shower extremely slippery. Said they never got our booking thru booking.com and tried to charge for our dog when reviews online said no share for pets.

The place could use a little face lift (our room had an old musky kinda of smell) and the water pressure was severely lacking.
We weren't expecting much of this place given the amazing price, but we had a really nice stay! The rooms are basic and a little old, but otherwise quite clean. What we loved the most was the large grassy garden area - which is perfect for dog owners! We spent a lot of our downtime letting our dog sniff around while we enjoyed the picnic tables and shade of the trees. It was also just a short walk into town and not too far a drive to Bryce Canyon and Dixie National Forest.

Lack of tea and coffee but for this money a 2 minute stroll to the gas station opposite ain't an hardship. Fridge and microwave though...
Comfortable, clean, basic and tired BUT, best value for money we have had on our 3 week road trip.. excellent, the best WiFi I have ever had even better than my home network. Quaint and like stepping back in time. Linen was fresh and welcoming. Highly recommended but if you are looking for the Ritz go somewhere else.... Well done Bryce Canyon well done.
