Sweet little cabin, we got the king size, that was separate from the rest of the rooms. So very nice!

Very secluded, little to no people. Which I like. Very quiet, aside for the sounds of nature.

Not easy to find reception it is not named the same. Yosemite something looked like different place.

Our first night back in USA was a good one becauze the lodge lived up to its rating.. Very well situated Nothing close to Yosemite is going to be cheap so i think Buck Meadows is a great option

Great to have pod coffee maker, but only 2 coffee pods given, need at least 2 more for a 1 night stay!

Nevada Falls room had an individual deck area with chairs, felt like a mini-cabin, not right on road so quite quiet. Good sized room, modern, with great bathroom. Great diner on site.

Outside looked rough. Greatly overpriced. Better looking place next door.

The inside had all the usual amenities and was clean. Restaurant next door was the only one available for miles. It was very busy but food was okay. Compliments to the chef and waitresses working under pressure.

Finding the place was our first difficulty. It was NOT clear that this property was connected to another lodge (which was clearly marked). Secondly, a young woman answered the phone when we were trying to locate the lodge, asked us to hold. She took care of 2 other visitors while I waited on the phone for 10 minutes wanting to get the location of the lodge. Thirdly, the lodge manager? was unfriendly and not very cooperative when we arrived. We are simple folks and don't ask for much but we were VERY disappointed in this place. We would not visit Buck Meadows again. I'm sorry

The location was close to Yosemite. The Buck Meadows is located in the mountains.

The staff are not super friendly. Also there is an extra charge if you want your room tidied up everyday, which I find exaggerated since this is not exactly a cheap place. Also note that at the moment (end May 2023) the access to Yosemite NP via Hwy 120 is closed. Therefore you have to drive 70 miles to get into the park via one of the other entrances.

Very good location, with comfortable rooms. not too noisy in spite of the road. The (independent) restaurant Lucky Buck is quite good, with a good variety of dishes.

Shower drains slowly and porch/deck light was too bright at night. The curtain needs to be a few inches longer to block out the light. I had a hard time sleeping...I need it dark. Also... It would have been nice to know that we're checking in at the large hotel next door...that was a little confusing.

Nice clean updated room. Great location. A bargain for the area.

We were going on a snow camping trip in Yosemite...We wanted a place to rest at night before the trip and got there around 10pm. So, it was a great place to stay and repacked out backpack before heading into Yosemite.

    Nothing.

We stayed one night in Buck Meadows Lodge in mid Sept after our visit to Yosemite. Parking just in front of our room. It's a motel style room, quiet, clean, comfortable, great amenities, plenty of towels and everything is perfect. The bed comfortable so we had a great nights sleep after a long day at Yosemite. Vey nice bathroom. Wifi was decent. Refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV in room. Great stay!

As we with friends stayed in different rooms I noticed that some room was with good ventilation, some was with bad air quality and had no shower gel, no soap while there was rooms where all was great. Also they have some small rooms where sink is located not in bathroom, but bedroom.

Near rooms is Bucks Meadow caffe, where you can get great dinner... but unfortunately breakfast there was terrible... but still on our more than two weeks trip to USA, we would rate dinner there in top3

Bucks Meadows Lodge provided everything we needed for an overnight stay after our visit to Yosemite. It shares a building with the excellent Lucky Buck Cafe (excellent dinner and breakfast). Check in is at the Yosemite Valley Lodge next door. Convenient location, and the room had all we needed.
