On the rules don't say anything about dogs can't stay there. Or a charge to have them in the rooms.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was very cheap. We needed a last minute place to crash for the night while in the area for work because our regular Airbnb was booked, this motel was what was available. It served that purpose.

The bathroom fixtures were pretty beat up and didn’t appear clean. They worked well, though. They were just old and were probably near the end of their serviceable terms.

After booking my room. First off they have a little kid watching the front desk. After he answers the bell through a window he gets his mom or grandpa( or one of his older relatives), I was given the wrong room. The television did not work. The room was not clean. Everything was plugged into 1 power strip…including the microwave and television. I could hear the other guests on both sides of me and underneath. Needless to say I did not get any sleep. They say they are pet friendly…that is with an extra fee.

We didn't even have to get out of the car to register! We arrived early and was prepared to wait an hour to check in but was greeted by the owner with in a few minutes and told us we didn't have to wait went and got our keys and paper work I signed and he said go rest! It was clean and quiet

I had booked a room with a queen bed and got 2 full beds. The shower had to be worked on before the water would come out. The room smelled horrible. No ice machine.

Omg heres the list. I should have looked at the reviews. We booked through booking.com, given the price. Before we left MO. We called and talked to the owner to confirm our reservation. Yes, he had it. Asked him if there would be a problem if we got there 7 hours earlier than the check-in time. No problem, he said. He said he would just charge us for the early check-in. We get there, and there are ins't a reservation, lost, I assume. So we had to pay full price. I'm too tired at 4 am. to argue. Go to our room. Wow.. instead of 2 queens, we have two singles. Had to ask for more of that 1/4 ply toilet paper because we only had maybe a quarter of a roll left. The bed was rock hard. The sheets were stained. Covers was way too thin. Pigeons are cool and all, but they feed them in the small ass parking lot, and your car is now covered in bird crap. The whole area is sketchy at best. Just stay in Ashland, you'll thank me for it. Just 20 some miles away.

The owner was very friendly and accommodated. We had to ask for extra stuff, and he got it done in a timely manner.

Everything! Before booking our stay I checked the reviews and found them favorable however when we arrived I question the reviews were about the same hotel. It was by far the dirtiest place I have ever been in. There was 2 wash clothes and 2 frayed towels that were stained and looked more like rags than people use. (see pic#4)We travel a lot and since Covid our practice is to use disinfectant wipes on all areas we touch when we arrive at a hotel. We have never been in a place that turned our wipes black like this place. after our initial cleaning my husband went to the office to get some additional towels to clean the floor with. The towels were so bad when he finished I question how long it’s been since the floor was cleaned. (see pic #1)The toilet was covered in hair and dirt as was the sink and counter. The carpet was badly stained and felt absolutely gross. The reviews stated the room smelled so good. We found the room itself had no bad odors but the bed smelled like urine. When my husband pulled back the covers he was greeted by a dead bug and in the morning woke to a clump of hair stuck to his body. In the morning we tried to shower but the tub wouldn’t drain so only one shower was possible. We dressed, packed up, loaded the car and as we checked out the tub was still full of water. As the reviews said, we found the manager working to be very nice but what wasn’t said was he is very hard to understand and had trouble understanding us. We tried to access the Wi-Fi but communication was so bad we couldn’t. I would STRONGLY advise people to NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL! I would advise even STRONGER the local health department pay this location a visit. It is inexcusable!
